The “Edit Quick Codes” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the “User Preferences” business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Quick Code Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the quick code type for which quick codes have to be modified. The system provides the options “Category” and “User Status” and displays “Category” by default.

Status

Use the drop down list box to select the status of the quick code to be modified. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”, and sets the field to “Active” by default.

Leave the field blank to retrieve all the quick codes available for the login organizational unit irrespective of the status.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria entered:

Quick Code

The quick code belonging to the selected quick code type or status.

Note: You can modify only those quick codes that are in the “Active” status.

Description

The modified textual description of the quick code (Alphanumeric, 80). Mandatory.

Status

Use the drop down list box to modify the status of the quick code. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Set the status as “Inactive”, if you wish to disable this quick code from future reference in other activities.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:

Created By

The name of the user that created the quick code.

Created Date

The date on which the quick code was created.

Last Modified By

The name of the user that last modified the quick code.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the quick code was last modified.

Note: The system stores the server date as the “Last Modified Date”.
