Task #

The number identifying the task for which Charges can be specified in the Service Pricelist. The task number must have been defined in the “Create Task” activity of the “Maintenance Task” business component.

Data entry in this field is mandatory if other charge details are specified.

The textual description of the task.

Charge Code

A unique code identifying the charge. Data entry in this field is mandatory if the task number or variant number is specified.

Ensure the following:

  • The code specified in this field is an “active” charge code existing in the Taxes Charges and Discounts master.

  • The basis of the code specified in here is “Flat”

Variant #

The code identifying the charge variant. Data entry in this field is mandatory if the charge code is specified.

Ensure that the number specified here must be available in the TCD Master as a Variant, for the Charge code specified.

Note: The Charge code – Variant combination must exist in the TCD Master

Note: The Task #, Charge Code and Variant # combination is not duplicated in any other row in the multiline.

Pricing Basis

Use the drop-down list box to select the pricing policy for additional task level charges. Data entry in this field is mandatory if a value is specified as the charge code.

  • Fixed - Select this option if you wish to price additional task level charges at a fixed value.

  • Cost Plus – Select this option if you wish to price additional task level charges with a factor plus the cost.

  • Actuals – Select this option if you wish to price additional task level charges at the actual cost.

Price

Fixed value of the additional task level charge. Data entry in this field is mandatory if “Fixed” is specified as the “Pricing Basis”.

Ensure that this field is left blank if “Cost Plus” or “Actuals” is specified as the “Pricing Basis”.

Factor

The factor applied on the actual charge incurred, to arrive at the price, in case the Pricing Basis is selected as “Costplus”, charged to the Customer (Decimal)

Price Description

Textual description for the task level charge. Mandatory.

Textual description of pricing combination for your reference.

To modify / revise a service pricelist details

Note: The Pricelist # specified in the “Identifier Details” group box cannot be modified during editing or revision of the service pricelist

To confirm the service pricelist

Note: The system updates the status of the service pricelist # / revision # as “Confirmed”.

Note: The system deletes the roster code record, if the “Pricing Policy For Resources” multiline does not have a single record with the Resource Type “Skill” with the Pricing Method set to “Roster Code”.

To cancel the service pricelist

Note: The system updates the status of the service pricelist as “Cancelled”.
