ShortClose Release Slip – A summary of the activity
This activity allows you to short close the RS. For example, you can short close an RS, if the planned items are not required anymore or if the supplier is not able to meet the requirements. This is a mode of canceling the order after it has been authorized. Once short closed, the RS will not be available for any transactions. If the items are in transit, then the RS can be short closed only after the delivery of the item. If a portion of the stock has been received, then the RS can be short closed only for the remaining stock items that are not yet received.
