This page allows you to retrieve the details of the Release Slip. You can carry out a search using the Release Slip number, status, user status, category, priority, type, from date, to date and part number. The system retrieves all the Release slip details based on the search criteria entered.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Copy RS#” field in the main page.
The “Help On Release Slip” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for Release Slip:
RS # |
The number that identifies the release slip (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the release slips whose numbers are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the release slips, irrespective of the status. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the release slip. The system lists "Fresh", “Cancelled”, “Authorized”, “Under Authorization”, “Amended”, “Under Amendment”, “Confirmed”, “Shortclosed”, “NTClosed”, “Closed” and “Held’ as options. The system retrieves all the release slips of the status specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the release slips irrespective of the status. |
User Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the user-defined status of the release slip. The system lists all the “Active” quick codes defined for the release slip in the “Create User Status” activity of the “Logistics Common Master” business component. The system retrieves all the release slips that are in the user-defined status specified here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the release slips, irrespective of the user-defined status. |
Category |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the category of the release slip. The system lists all the “Active” quick codes defined for the release slip in the “Create Common Category” activity of the “Logistics Common Master” business component. The system retrieves all the release slips of the category specified here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the release slips irrespective of the category. |
Priority |
Use the drop-down list box to select the urgency level for the release slip to be retrieved. The system lists “AOG”, “Critical”, “Expedite” or “Routine” as options. The system retrieves all the release slips of the priority specified here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the release slips, irrespective of the priority. |
RS Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the release slip to be modified. The system lists “Normal” and “Express” as options. The system retrieves all the release slips of the type specified here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the release slips irrespective of the type. |
RS Date From |
The starting date, in a range of release slip dates, from which the details must be retrieved (Date Format). Ensure that this date is earlier than or equal to the current server date. The system lists all the release slips that are raised later than or equal to this date. |
RS Date To |
The ending date, in a range of release slip dates, until which the details must be retrieved (Date Format). Ensure that this date is earlier than or equal to the current server date. The system lists all the release slips that are raised earlier than or equal to this date. The system sets the current server date by default. |
Part # |
The part number (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the release slips containing part numbers similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the release slips irrespective of the part. |
Note: Leave all the fields blank, to retrieve all the release slip numbers defined in the system.
Click the “Search Results” pushbutton, to retrieve the search results.
The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the search criteria entered.

Amendment # |
The latest amendment number of the release slip. |
RS Date |
The date on which the release slip was raised. |
Supplier # |
The code that identifies the supplier. |
Supplier Name |
The name of the supplier. |
Status |
The status of the release slip. |
RS Type |
The type of the release slip, which could be “Normal” or “Express”. |
Priority |
The priority of the release slip, which could be “AOG”, “Critical”, “Expedite” or “Routine”. |
Category |
The category to which the release slip belongs. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to select a release slip number.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
