This page allows you to modify the reference document information for the return slip, which supports the return of the material to the warehouse.   Tell me more

The “Edit Reference Document List” page appears.

The system displays the following in the “Return Slip Details” group box:

Return Slip #

The number identifying the return slip. This number is automatically generated and displayed by the system at the time of creating return slip, with the numbering type selected.

Return slip Status

The status of the return slip.

Line #

Use the drop-down list box to select the line number of the return slip to view the reference document details. This is provided because it is possible that the part numbers can repeat in the Issue Part # column if the part has been issued with different Issue Stock Status

The system displays the following:

Issue Part #

The number identifying the issued part.

Part Description

The  description of the part.

Part Type

The type of the part to be returned, which could be any one of "Raw Material”, “Component”, “Expendable”, “Tool”, “Consumable”  “Kit” or “Miscellaneous”

Return Basis

The basis of return, which could be “Returnable”, “Core Returnable” or “Excess”.

Issue Stock Status

The status of the stock as it was issued.

Issued Quantity

The quantity of the part issued for the reference document(s), from the warehouse.

Issue Warehouse #

The number identifying the warehouse from where the material was issued.

The system displays the following in the “Reference Document Details” multiline:

Ref Document #

The number identifying the reference document for which the return slip has been generated

Ref Document Type

The type of the reference document describing the reference document. The reference document could be of the following types:

  • Work Order – Indicates that the reference document is either a hangar work order, or a component work order or a line work order

  • Task – Indicates that the reference document is a task

  • Visit Package - Indicates that the reference document is a visit package

Task #

The number identifying the task for which the material was issued.

Work Center #

The work execution center from which the material is being returned after execution of the work order, visit package or task.

UOM

The unit of measurement with which the part was issued for the reference document

Issued Quantity

The quantity of the part issued for the reference document(s), from the warehouse.

Pending Return Qty

The quantity of part that is pending to be returned.

Modifying the reference document details for the return slip – An Overview

This page allows you to modify the reference document information for the return slip, which supports the return of the material to the warehouse. These are the documents that are automatically created; on creating the material return slip. You can view the list of reference documents associated with the material return slip and associate/disassociate the documents to the material return slip.

The reference document can be of type “Work Order”, “Task” or “Visit Package”.
