The “Manage Aircraft - Employee Assignment” page appears.

Work Center

Use the first drop-down list box to select the work center in which the package must be executed. Mandatory. The drop-down list box displays work centers:

§  That exist in the  ‘Active’ status

§  That has ‘Execution Capability’ set as “Line Jobs” or “All” in the “Edit Exe. Org Unit Level Work center Details” page of the “Identify Exe. Unit Work Centers” activity of Work Center.

§  That are mapped to the login user in the “Set Work Center – Access Privileges” activity

By default, the drop-down list box displays the primary work center that is mapped to the login user. However, if the login user does not have access privileges to any of the work centers, the drop-down list box shows blank.

The second drop-down list box displays the shifts prevailing in the selected work center.

The search retrieves flights whose arrival station is the same as the station code of work center that you have selected in the field.

Assign by

Use the drop-down list box to select the basis on which the employee must be assigned work. The drop-down list box displays Flight and Package.

By default, this field displays ‘Flight’.

If Assign by is:

§  Flight, the search retrieves Flight Routing & Assignment details..

§  Package, the search retrieves Package details & Assignment details,

The “Assign For” group box displays the following based on the selection in the previous fields:

Station

The station mapped to the work center

Time Zone

The time zone of the station.

Note: If work center, shift code and From and To Date & Time fields are available at the time of launch of the page, auto-search is executed.

From / To Date & Time

The start date & time and end date & time of the period for which you want to retrieve assignments. Mandatory.

Note: By default, From Date & Time are set as the shift start date and time and shift end date and time, if you have selected a shift code in the Work Center field. The date and time is displayed in keeping with the time zone of the station of the work center.

By default, To Date & Time is set as:

From Date & time + Default Package Employee Assignment Horizon (Hrs.)" process parameter value defined for the entity type “Maintenance Planning” and entity “Aircraft Maintenance Planning” in Define Process Entities activity.

If Assign by is “Flight”, the search retrieves flights with arrival date & time between From and To Date/Time as provided in search criteria.

If Assign by is “Package”, the search retrieves the Fresh and Planned packages  for aircraft assigned to the Context work center (as defined in the Set Context/Defaults page of LineAnywhere)  with Planned Start & End date & time in the period between the From / To Date & Time.

Search On

 

Use the drop-down list box to select the attribute based on which the flight routing records must be retrieved. The drop-down list box displays the following:

  • A/C Model #

  • A/C Reg. #

  • Emp. #

  • Emp. Name

  • Flight #

  • Maint. Operator

  • Customer

  • Package Type

Note: For all values other than A/C Model # and Package Type selected in the first drop-down list box, the next drop-down list box is not available.

From the next drop-down list box, select the aircraft model # or package type. The drop-down list box displays the aircraft models or package types in ‘Active’ status available in the system.

Display Option

Select the radio button:

  • All, to retrieve both the unassigned & assigned flights/packages

  • Unassigned, to retrieve  unassigned flights/packages

  • Assigned, to retrieve the assigned flights/packages

AC Reg #

The aircraft assigned to the employee as identified by the login user.

Arr. Flight #

The arrival flight # of the aircraft assigned to the employee.

Arr. From Station

The station from which the aircraft is scheduled to arrive.

Arr. Date/Time

The date and time of arrival of the aircraft as per the local time zone of the station.

GT (Mins)

The ground time of the aircraft in minutes.

Package #

The package that must be executed on the aircraft following arrival.

Planned Start Date

The planned start date of the package.

Planned End Date

The planned end date of the package.

Primary Emp. #

Use the drop-down list box to select the employee to whom aircraft or package is to be assigned. The drop-down list box displays primary employee # based on the process parameter “Allow Employees for Assignment” defined in the Define Process Entities activity of Common Master. 

Note:

The employee # must be defined in the HRMS interacting business component

The primary assignment status of the employee must be ‘Authorized’

At least one license of the employee must be valid for the period between From Date & Time and To Date & Time.

Allow Employees for Assignment is set as

Primary Emp. # drop-down list box: Displays

1 for “Privileged Employees to access Work Center"

Active employees with Active primary assignments for the station time zone time who have access privilege to selected work center

0 for "All Employees" 

Active employees with Active primary assignment for current station's time zone time

Emp. Name

The name of the Primary employee to who has been assigned the flight or aircraft.

Addl. Emp.

Comments

  • Assign by 'Flight': Most recent comments saved against the Aircraft Reg. #, Flight #, Arrival Station, Work Center and Arrival Date/Time combination

  • Assign by 'Package': Most recent comments recorded against Aircraft Reg. #, Package #, Arrival Station, Work Center and Planned Start Date/Time combination

Addl. Reference 1

Equipment/vehicle used by the employee for maintenance jobs.

Addl. Reference 2

Equipment/vehicle used by the employee for maintenance jobs.

Other Assigned Employees

Assign by 'Flight': Names of additional employees (separated by comma), if additional employees have been assigned to the flight.

Assign by 'Package': Names of additional employees (separated by comma), if additional employees have been assigned to the package.

No. of Assignments

Assign by 'Flight': The total number of flights assigned to the employee for the period between From Date & Time and To Date & Time.

Assign by 'Package': The total number of packages assigned to the employee for the period between From Date & Time and To Date & Time.

Dep. Flight #

The departure flight # of the aircraft assigned to the employee. .

Dep. To Station

The station to which the aircraft is scheduled to depart from the current station.

Dep. Date/Time

The date and time of departure of the aircraft from the arrival station.

Maint. Operator

The maintenance operator of the aircraft.

A/C Model #

The model of the aircraft assigned to the employee.

Last Modified by

The login user who most recently modified the record.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the record was most recently modified.

Package Type

The type of the package, such as Line Package or Visit package

Package Status

The status of the package, such as Fresh or Planned.

Customer

The name of the customer associated with the customer order for which the package was created.

Customer Order #

The customer order associated with the package assigned to the employee.

Customer Name

The customer associated with the customer order.

On click of the “Unassign” button, the primary employee additional employees and references are removed from the package/flight.

If Assign by is Flight, the Scheduled  Flight details cannot be deleted or modified though the Adhoc assignment details saved against Aircraft#/ can be deleted.
