Managing Workscope level Quotation
In this screen, the user can record the Repair Quotation and the Material cost at Workscope level. Workscope Level Quotation will be a break-down for the Repair Quotation entered. In the Workscope Level Quotation, provision will be available to modify the Repair Cost that will be updated back in Part Level Quotation.
Select the hyperlinked “Repair Cost Break” field in the “Repair Quote Details” tab of the “Manage Repair Quote” screen.
The “Manage Workscope Level Quotation” page appears.
Enter the following field in the header section:
Quote Line # / Part # |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the Quote Line # and Part # for which the workscope is managed. The system lists all the Line #s / Part #s available in the Repair Order along with the value ‘All’. |
The system displays the following fields in the header section:
Repair Cost |
The estimated repair cost of the part #. |
Part # / Description |
The number identifying the part and the description of part. |
Serial # |
The serial number of the part. |
Lot # |
The lot number of the part. |
Enter the following fields in the “Customer Information” section
Customer # |
The identification number of the customer who owns the component. |
Customer Name |
The name of the customer. |
CO # |
The identification number of the customer order. |
Sale Contract # |
The number identifying the sale contract of the part. |
Customer Scope |
The scope of the customer defined in the sale contract. |
Scope Notes |
The customer scope notes defined in the sale contract. |
Enter the following fields in the “Quotation Details” multiline:
Quote Line # |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the line number of the quotation. The system lists the Qt. Line # selected in Header section. |
Workscope Line # |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the line number of the Workscope. The system lists the combination of Workscope Quote Line # and Quote Line #. Example: If Quote Line # 1 has Workscope Quote Line #, 1, 2 and 3, then the system lists the values 1 | Qt. Line: 1, 2 | Qt. Line: 1, 3 | Qt. Line: 1. |
Repair Process Code |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the Repair process code for the part. The system lists all the ‘active’ Repair Process Codes defined in the “Maintain Repair Process Codes” activity of the “Logistics Common Master” business component along with a blank value. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |
Work Unit Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of Work Unit for the part. The system lists the values “Task”, “Non –Routine” and “Others” along with a blank value. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |
Work Unit # |
The number identifying the work unit of the part. Help facility available. |

The description of the work unit. |
Enter the following fields in the “Quotation Details” multiline:
Workscope Comments |
The comments pertaining to the workscope of the part. |
Repair Classification |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the repair classification of the part. The system lists all the quick codes of type ‘Repair Classification’ defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity of the “Maintenance Task” business component along with a blank value. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |
Repair Cost |
The estimated repair cost of the part #. |
Est. Man Hrs |
The total man hours estimated to complete the repair. |
Cost/Man Hour |
The cost per person per hour. |
Labor Cost |
The labor cost that will be incurred for the repair of the part #. |
Material Cost |
The material cost that will be incurred for the repair of the part #. |
Misc. Cost |
Any extra cost that will be incurred for the repair of the part #. |
The system displays the following fields in the multiline:
Material Cost (Workscope) |
The material cost for the Workscope Qt line #. If Material Cost is entered for the Workscope Quote Line #, then the system displays the value “Entered”, If Material Cost is not entered for the Workscope Quote Line # or for the Quote Line # itself, then the system displays the value “Not Entered”. |
Created by / Date |
The name of the user who created the repair quote and the date on which it is created. |
Click the “Save” pushbutton to save the entered workscope details for the quotation at line level.
Note: The “Save” pushbutton is not visible when the “Manage Workscope Level Quotation” page is invoked from “View Repair Order”.
