This page allows you to generate maintenance task card that contains the maintenance task details. You can generate the report that contains the details of maintenance task. You can search for the task and generate the maintenance task card.

The “Generate Maintenance Task Card” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields must be entered in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Task #

The task for which you wish to generate the task card (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the tasks that are similar to the value entered here.

Revision #

The revision number of the task (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the tasks associated to the revision number specified here.

Task Description

The description of the task (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the tasks with descriptions are similar to the description entered here.

Task Applicability

Use the drop-down list box to specify the applicability of the task to be retrieved, which could be “Aircraft”, “Engine” or “Component”. The system lists all the tasks that are applicable for the item specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of tasks irrespective of their applicability. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Aircraft Model #

The aircraft model for which the task is applicable (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the tasks associated with the aircraft model number entered here.

Task Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the task. The system lists the following options:

  • MPD – Select this option to retrieve Maintenance Planning Document Task.

  • CMM – Select this Option to retrieve Component Maintenance Manual Task Details.

  • MOD – Select this option to retrieve MOD task, a task in the service bulletin that necessitates the modification.

  • Airline – Select this option to retrieve task that is specific to the airline.

  • Others – Select this option to retrieve task that is not a MPD, CMM, MOD or an Airline task.

Apart from the five options above, the system will also list all the task types defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity of the “Maintenance Task” business component.

Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of tasks irrespective of their type. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Related Task #

The number identifying the task that is related to the current task (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the tasks related to the task specified here.

Org. Unit #

Use the drop-down list box to select the organizational unit in which the task is created.

ATA #

The number identifying the ATA chapter in which the task can be carried out (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the tasks that are defined for the ATA chapter.

Task Category

Use the drop-down list box to specify the category of the task. The system lists all the quick codes defined under “Task Category” in the “Create Quick Codes” activity of  the “Maintenance Task” business component.

Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of tasks irrespective of their category. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Task Applicability

Indicates the applicability of the task, which could be “Aircraft”, “Engine” or “Component”.

Base Aircraft Model #

The number identifying the base aircraft model on which the task can be performed.

Task #

The number identifying the task.

Revision #

The revision number of the task.

Task Description

The textual description of the task

ATA #

The number identifying the ATA chapter in which the task can be carried out

Task Category

The category to which the task belongs.

Task Type

The type of the task which could be one of the following:

  • MPD – indicates that the task is a Maintenance Planning Document Task.

  • CMM – indicates that the task is a Component Maintenance Manual Task.

  • MOD – indicates that the task is a MOD task, a task in the service bulletin that necessitates the modification.

  • Airline – indicates that the task is specific to the airline

  • Others – indicates that the task is not a MPD, CMM, MOD or an Airline task.

The task type could also be any of the quick codes defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity of the “Maintenance Task” business component.

Org. Unit #

The organizational unit in which the task is created.

Report Action

Use the drop-down list box to select the report action. The system lists the following options:

  • Print – Select this option to print the maintenance task card.

  • View Report – Select this option to view the maintenance task card.

By default, the system displays the option selected (if any) in the “Default Report Action” field in the “Set Options” activity of the current business component.

If no option is selected in the “Set Options” activity, the system displays “View Report” by default.
