In this activity, you can generate journey log reports.

The “Select Journey Log” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields appear in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Aircraft Reg #

The registration number of the aircraft for which journey log report has to be generated (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the registration number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the journey logs associated to the aircraft registration number entered here.

Aircraft Model #

The model to which the aircraft belongs (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the model number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the journey logs associated to the aircraft model number entered here.

Journey Log #

The number identifying the journey log for which the report must be generated (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the journey log number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.

Tech Log #

The number identifying the technical log (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the technical log number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the journey logs associated to the technical log specified here.

Flight #

The flight number of the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the flight number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the journey logs associated to the flight number entered here.

Leg #

The number identifying the leg of the flight (Integer) The system retrieves the journey logs associated to the leg number entered here.

Flight Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the flight. The system lists the following options: ”On Schedule”, ”Delayed”, “Cancelled”, “Air Turned Back”, “Ground Turned Back” and “Diverted”. Leave this field blank to retrieve journey logs irrespective of the flight status.

Journey Log Category

Use the drop-down list box to select the category to which the journey log belongs. The system lists all the values defined for the quick code type “Journey Log Category” in the “Create Quick Code” activity. Leave this field blank to retrieve journey logs irrespective of the category.

From Station

Use the drop-down list box to select the station where the journey started. The system lists all the “Active” stations defined in the “Create Station” activity of the “Common Masters” business component. The system leaves this field blank by default.

To Station

Use the drop-down list box to select the destination station of the flight. The system lists all the “Active” stations based on the flight and leg number entered, as defined in the “Create Station“ activity of the “Common Masters” business component. The system leaves the field blank by default.

From Date

The date on which the journey started (Date Format).

To Date

The date on which the journey ended (Date Format). Ensure that the date entered is not earlier than the “From Date”.

User Status

Use the drop-down list to select the user-defined status for the journey log. The system lists all the “Active” quick codes that are of the type “Journey Log” created in the “Create Quick Codes” activity of the “Flight Log” business component. Leave this field blank to retrieve journey logs irrespective of the user status.

The system retrieves only those journey logs, which are in “Confirmed” status, as defined in the “Create Journey Log” activity of the “Flight Log” business component.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:

Aircraft Reg #

The registration number of the aircraft for which journey log report has to be generated.

Aircraft Model #

The model number of the aircraft for which journey log report has to be generated.

Journey Log #

The number identifying the journey log.

Tech Log #

The number identifying the technical log.

Flight #

The flight number of the aircraft.

Leg #

The number identifying the leg of the flight.

Flight Status

The status of the flight.

Journey Log Category

The category to which the journey log belongs.

From Station

The station where the journey started.

To Station

The destination station.

Scheduled Departure Date

The date of departure planned for the flight.

Scheduled Arrival Date

The date of arrival planned for the flight.

Actual Departure Date

The actual date of departure of the flight.

Actual Arrival Date

The actual date of arrival of the flight.

User Status

The user-defined status for the journey log.

Note: Ensure that at least one journey log is selected in the multiline.

Report Action

Use the drop-down list box to select the report action. The system lists the following options:

  • Print – Select this option to print the journey log report.

  • Preview-Select this option to preview the journey log report.

  • View – Select this option to view the journey log report.

By default, the system displays the option selected in the “Default Report Action” field in the “Set Options” activity of the current business component.

Delay Details

Check this box to report delay details.

Report Incidents

Check this box to report incidents.

Report Inflight Shutdown Hours

Check this box to report inflight shutdown hours.

Report Technical Log Details

Check this box to report technical log details.

Report Pilot Defect Report

Check this box to report pilot defect report.
