Basics of using a typical web page

The “Select Flight Sheet” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields appear in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Flight Sheet#

The number identifying the flight sheet (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the flight sheet number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.

Status

Use the drop-down list to select the status of the flight sheet. The system displays the options “Fresh”, “Canceled”, “Confirmed”, “Approved” and “Under Amendment”.

By default, the system leaves the field blank.

Call Sign

The code identifying the customer’s job (Alphanumeric 20). You can enter the call sign number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the flight sheets having a call sign number similar to the number entered here.

User Status

Use the drop-down list to select the user-defined status for the flight sheet. The system lists all the “Active” quick codes that are of the type “Flight Sheet User Status” created in the “Create Flight Log/Occurrence Report” activity of the “Common Masters” business component. Leave this field blank to retrieve journey logs irrespective of the user status.

By default, the system leaves the field blank.

Aircraft Reg#

The registration number of the aircraft for which flight sheet report has to be generated (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the registration number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the flight sheets associated to the aircraft registration number entered here.

Aircraft Model #

The model to which the aircraft belongs (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the model number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the flight sheets associated to the aircraft model number entered here.

Flight Code

Use the drop-down list box to select the flight code. The system lists the following options:

  • INC - Income.

  • NFW - No Flight Weather

  • NFR - No Flight Required

  • NFU - No Flight Unsch. Maint.

  • NFS - No Flight Sch. Maint.

  • NFH - No Flight Hangar Maint.

  • OPS - PHI Operations

  • OPP - Opns. A/C Positioning

  • MNT - Maintenance Check

  • EMS - Emergency Medical Service

  • CRW - PHI Crew Change

  • FRP - FAA Ferry Permit

  • SAL - Sales Promotion

  • TRN - Training

  • TRP - Training A/C Positioning

By default, the system leaves the field blank.

Aircraft Released

Use the drop-down list box to specify the basis on which the aircraft is released to the customer. The system lists the following options

  • 0.25 – Select this option, if the aircraft was released for one-third duration of the day.

  • 0.5 – Select this option, if the aircraft was released for half of the day’s duration.

  • 0.75  - Select this option, if the aircraft was released for three-fourths of the day.

  • 1.0- Select this option, if the aircraft was released for the whole day’s duration.

  • “None” – Select this option, if none of the above options are applicable for the release of the aircraft.

By default, the system leaves the field blank.

From Date

The starting date in a range of dates for which flight sheet records must be retrieved (Date Format).

To Date

The ending date in a range of dates within which flight sheet records must be retrieved (Date Format).

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:

Flight Sheet#

The number identifying the flight sheet.

Amendment#

The amendment number of the flight sheet.

Status

The status of the flight sheet, which could be “Fresh”, “Canceled”, “Confirmed”, “Approved” or “Under Amendment”. 

User Status

The user status for the flight sheet.

Aircraft Reg #

The registration number of the aircraft for which flight sheet report has to be generated.

Aircraft Model #

The model number of the aircraft for which flight sheet report has to be generated.

Call Sign

The number identifying the call sign in the flight sheet.

Aircraft Released

The reason for which the aircraft is released, which could any one of the following:

  • 0.25 – If the aircraft was released for one-third duration of the day.

  • 0.5 – If the aircraft was released for half of the day’s duration.

  • 0.75  - If the aircraft was released for three-fourths of the day.

  • 1.0 - If the aircraft was released for the whole day’s duration.

  • None – If none of the above options are applicable for the release of the aircraft.

Flight Code

The flight code for the flight sheet.

From Date

The date starting from which the flight sheet report is prepared.

To Date

The date until which the flight sheet report must be prepared.

Total Flight Sheet Legs

The sum of take-offs of all the legs associated with the flight sheet.

Total Flight Sheet Time

The sum of flight durations of all the legs associated with the flight sheet.

Report Action

Use the drop-down list box to select the report action. The system lists the following options:

  • Print – Select this option to print the flight sheet report.

  • Preview-Select this option to preview the flight sheet report.

  • View – Select this option to view the flight sheet report.

By default, the system displays the option selected in the “Default Report Action” field in the “Set Options” activity of the current business component.
