Generating deferment request report

You can generate a report that contains deferment request details.

Select the “Generate Deferment Request Report” link under the “Hangar Maintenance Reports” business component.

The “Select Deferment Request Report” page appears.

Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for the deferment request document. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Deferment Request #	The number that identifies the deferment request for which you wish to generate the report (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the deferment number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the deferment requests whose number is similar to the value specified here. Leave this field blank to search for all the deferment requests.
Status	Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the deferment request. The system provides the options, “Fresh”, “Confirmed”, “Cancelled” and “Returned”. The system retrieves all the deferment requests that are in the status specified here. Leave this field blank to search for the deferment requests, irrespective of the status.
Aircraft Reg #	The aircraft registration number for which the deferment request details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. Leave this field blank to search for all the deferment requests, irrespective of the aircraft registration number.
Visit Package #	The number identifying the visit package (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the deferment requests associated with the visit package specified here. Leave this field blank to search for all the deferment requests, irrespective of the visit package.
Job Type	Use the drop-down list box to specify the job type of the work order task. The system provides the options, “Aircraft”, “On-Wing” and “Component Removal”. The system retrieves all the deferment requests in which the job type is similar to the value specified here. Leave this field blank to search for all the deferment requests, irrespective of the job type.
Work Center #	Use the drop-down list box to specify the place of maintenance execution to which the visit package is associated. The system lists all the work centers of all the organization units defined in the system. The system retrieves all the deferment requests, which are raised in the work center specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the deferment requests, irrespective of the work centers.
Part #	The number that identifies the part (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the deferment requests associated with the part number specified here. Leave this field blank to search for all the deferment requests, irrespective of the part number.
Part Serial #	The number that identifies the serial number of the part (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the deferment requests associated with the part serial number specified here. Leave this field blank to search for all the deferment requests, irrespective of the part serial number.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:

Deferment Request #	The deferment request for which you wish to generate the report.
Status	The status of the deferment request, which could be either “Fresh”, “Confirmed”, “Cancelled” or “Returned”.
Aircraft Reg #	The aircraft registration number.
Visit Package #	The number that identifies the visit package.
Job Type	The job type of the work unit, which could be “Aircraft”, “On-Wing” or “Component Removal”.
Work Center #	The work center for which the deferment request was raised.
Part #	The part number of the component.
Part Serial #	The serial number of the part.

Enter the following field in the “Report Options” group box:

Report Action

Use the drop-down list box to select the report action. The system lists the following options:

View Report - Select this option to view the deferment request report.
Print – Select this option to print the deferment request report.

Select the “Generate Deferred Discrepancy Report” link to generate the deferment request report.
