Generating discrepancy deferment report

You can generate a report that contains details regarding the deferment of discrepancy.

Select the “Generate Discrepancy Deferment Report” link under the “Hangar Maintenance Reports” business component.

The “Select Maintenance Report” page appears.

Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for the discrepancy deferment document. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Aircraft Reg #	The registration number of the aircraft for which the discrepancy deferment details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the registration number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the maintenance reports of the aircraft with registration number similar to the number entered here.
Aircraft Model #	The aircraft model for which the discrepancy deferment details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the model number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the maintenance reports of the aircraft belonging to the model specified here.
ATA #	The number identifying the ATA chapter in which the discrepancy is reported (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the ATA chapter number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the maintenance reports of the aircraft belonging to this ATA chapter.
Org. Unit #	Use the drop-down list box to specify the organization unit. Leave the field blank, if you wish to retrieve all the maintenance reports irrespective of the organization unit. The system sets the field blank by default.
Discrepancy #	The number identifying the discrepancy identified in the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the discrepancy number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the maintenance reports that contain discrepancies similar to the value entered here.
Maint. Report #	The maintenance report of the discrepancy that is reported in the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the model number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the maintenance reports with number similar to the value entered here.
Customer #	The number identifying the customer, who owns the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 45).
Customer Name	The name of the customer owning the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 40).

Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:

Maint. Report #	The maintenance report of the discrepancy reported in the aircraft.
Maint Report Description	The textual description of the maintenance report.
Aircraft Reg #	The registration number of the aircraft for which the discrepancy deferment details are to be retrieved.
Aircraft Model #	The aircraft model for which the discrepancy deferment details are to be retrieved.
Customer #	The number identifying the customer, who owns the aircraft.
Customer Name	The name of the customer owning the aircraft.

Enter the following field in the “Report Options” group box:

Report Action

Use the drop-down list box to select the report action. The system lists the following options:

View Report - Select this option to view the discrepancy deferment report.
Print – Select this option to print the discrepancy deferment report.

Select the “Generate Discrepancy Deferment Report” link to view the discrepancy deferment report.
