This page allows you to generate the report that contains the details of maintenance change request.

The “Generate MCR Report” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

MCR #

The number identifying the maintenance change request for which the report must be generated (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the MCR number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all MCR numbers that are similar to the value entered here.

Subject

The textual description of the maintenance change request (Alphanumeric, 255). You can enter the MCR description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all MCR numbers whose descriptions are similar to the value entered here.

MCR Issue From Date

The starting date in the range of MCR issue dates, for which the report is required (Date Format).

MCR Issue To Date

The ending date in the range of MCR issue dates, for which the report is required (Date Format).

Aircraft Reg #

The aircraft registration number on which the MCR is executed (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the registration number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the MCRs with the aircraft registration number entered here.

You can enter this field when the MCR applicability is “Aircraft”.

Aircraft Model #

The model to which the aircraft belongs (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the model number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the MCR numbers with the model number entered here.

Part #

The part number on which the MCR is executed (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the MCR numbers with the part number entered here.

You can enter this field when the MCR applicability is “Engine” or “Component”.

Serial #

The serial number of the part (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the serial number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the MCR numbers with the serial number entered here.

Source Doc Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of source document that triggered MCR creation. The system lists all the MCR document types defined in the “Create MCR Document Types” activity of the “Common Master” business component.

Manufacturer Name

The name of the manufacturer who issued the MCR (Alphanumeric, 150).

Applicability

Use the drop-down list box to select the applicability of the MCR, for which the report must be generated. The system provides the following options:

 
  • Aircraft – Select this option to indicate that the MCR is applicable for aircraft.

 
  • Component – Select this option to indicate that the MCR is applicable for component.

 
  • Engine – Select this option to indicate that the MCR is applicable for engine.

ATA #

The ATA chapter number on which the MCR is executed (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the ATA chapter number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the MCR numbers with the ATA chapter number entered here.

MCR Org Unit #

Use the drop-down list box to select the organizational unit in which the MCR is created. The system lists all the organizational units in which the MCR can be created.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:

MCR #

The maintenance change request defined in the system.

Revision #

The revision number of the MCR.

Issue Date

The date on which the MCR is issued.

Subject

The textual description of the MCR.

Manufacturer Name

The name of the manufacturer who issued the MCR.

Applicability

The applicability of the MCR, which could be “Aircraft”, “Engine” or “Component”.

ATA #

The ATA chapter on which the MCR is executed.

MCR Org. Unit #

The organizational unit in which the maintenance change request is created.

Select All

Check this box to select all MCRs listed in the multiline.

Report Action

Use the drop-down list box to select the report action. The system lists the following options:

  • Print – Select this option to print the MCR report.

  • View Report – Select this option to view the MCR report.
