This page allows you to generate the report that contains the details of engineering advice note.

The “Generate EAN Report” page appears.

Engg Advice Note #

The number identifying the engineering advice note for which the report must be generated (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the EAN number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all EAN numbers that are similar to the value entered here.

Subject

The textual description of the engineering advice note (Alphanumeric, 255). You can enter the EAN description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all EAN numbers whose descriptions are similar to the value entered here.

ESReq From Date

The starting date in the range of Engineering Service Request issue dates, for which the report is required (Date Format).

ESReq Issue To Date

The ending date in the range of Engineering Service Request issue dates, for which the report is required (Date Format).

Engg Service Req #

The number identifying the engineering service request for which the EAN is created (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the ESR number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all EAN numbers with the ESR number entered here.

ATA #

The ATA chapter number to which the EAN is associated (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the ATA chapter number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the EAN numbers with the ATA chapter number entered here.

Applicability

Use the drop-down list box to select the applicability of the EAN, for which the report must be generated. The system provides the following options:

 
  • Aircraft – Select this option to indicate that the EAN is applicable for aircraft.

 
  • Component – Select this option to indicate that the EAN is applicable for component.

 
  • Engine – Select this option to indicate that the EAN is applicable for engine.

Org Unit #

Use the drop-down list box to select the organizational unit in which the EAN is created. The system lists all the organizational units in which the EAN can be created.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:

Engg Advice Note #

The engineering advice note defined in the system

Subject

The textual description of the EAN.

Requested Date

The date on which the Engineering service Request is raised.

Engg. Service Req #

The number identifying the engineering service request defined for the EAN number.

ATA #

The ATA chapter to which the EAN is associated.

Applicability

The applicability of the EAN, which could be “Aircraft”, “Engine” or “Component”.

Select All

Check this box to select all engineering advice notes listed in the multiline.

Report Action

Use the drop-down list box to select the report action. The system lists the following options:

  • Print – Select this option to print the EAN report.

  • View Report – Select this option to view the EAN report.
