Generating Component Modification Status Report
This page allows you to generate the report that contains the details of component modification.
Select the “Generate Component Modification Status Report” link under the “Engineering Reports” business component.
The “Generate Component Modification Status Report” page appears.
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for component. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Component # |
The component for which the modification status report must be generated (Alphanumeric, 90). You can enter the component number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. |
Component Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type to which the component belongs. The system lists the options “Engine”, “APU”, “Landing Gear” and “Others”. The system retrieves the components of the type specified here. |
Part # |
The part to which the component belongs (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all components whose part numbers are similar to the number entered here. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the part description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. |
Part Serial # |
The serial number of the part (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the serial number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the components whose serial numbers are similar to the number entered here. |
Source Document Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of source document that necessitated the modification on the component. The system lists all the MCR document types defined in the “Create MCR Document Types” activity of the “Common Master” business component. |
MCR Issue From Date |
The starting date in the range of MCR issue dates, for which the report is required (Date Format). |
MCR Issue To Date |
The ending date in the range of MCR issue dates, for which the report is required (Date Format). |
MCR Org Unit # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the organizational unit in which the maintenance change request (MCR) is created. The system lists all the organizational units in which the MCR can be created. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:
Component # |
The component that is subjected to modification. |
Component Type |
The type to which the component belongs, which could be “Engine”, “APU”, “Landing Gear” or “Others”. |
Part # |
The part to which the component belongs. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
Part Serial # |
The serial number of the part. |
Source Document Type |
The type of source document that necessitated the modification on the component. |
MCR Org. Unit # |
The organizational unit in which the maintenance change request is created. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the component for generating the modification status report.

Check this box to select all the components listed in the multiline. |
