Generating Certificate of Maintenance Report
This page allows you to generate the report on the maintenance certificates issued for components.
Select the "Generate Certificate of Maintenance Report" link under the “Component Maintenance Reports” business component.
The "Generate Certificate of Maintenance Report" page appears.
Enter the following fields in the "Report Criteria" group box:
CoM # |
The number identifying the Certificate of Maintenance for which the report is generated. (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using “*” character. |
Comp. Work Order # |
The number of the component work order for which the certificate of maintenance is created (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using “*” character. |
Part # |
The part number of the component on which the work is done (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using “*” character. |
Serial # |
The serial number of the Part (Alphanumeric, 40). Ensure that this number is defined in the “Maintain Part Information” activity or the “Create Component ID Information” activity of the “Aircraft” business component and is in the “Active” status. You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using “*” character. |
Component # |
The number that identifies the component for which the certificate of maintenance is issued (Alphanumeric, 90). The system leaves this field blank by default. You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using “*” character. |
Maintenance Type |
Use the drop-down list box to identify the maintenance type. The system displays all the maintenance types as created in the “Common Master” business component. |
Org. unit # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the organizational unit to which the component belongs. The system displays all the organizational units defined in the system. |
Job Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the job type of the component work order. The system displays the following options:
The system retrieves the details of component work orders that were created for the selected job type. The system sets this field to “Component” by default. |
Make/Piece Part # |
The number assigned to the assembled part or piece part attached to the component on which the work order is generated (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the make/piece part number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the work orders created for the make/piece part numbers that are similar to the number entered here. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system displays the following details in the “Search Results” multiline.
CoM # |
The number identifying the Certificate of Maintenance. |
Comp. Work Order # |
The number of the component work order for which the certificate of maintenance is created. |
Part # |
The part number of the component on which the work order is generated. |
Serial # |
The serial number of the Part . |
Component # |
The number that identifies the component on which the work order is generated. |
Maintenance Type |
The maintenance type of the component. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select certificate of maintenance for report generation.
Check the “Select All” box to select all the certificates of maintenance.
Note: Ensure that at least one row of the multiline is selected.

Use the drop-down list box to select the report action. The system lists the following options:

Select the "Generate Certificate of Maintenance Report” link at the bottom of the page to generate the report on certificate of maintenance.
