Generating MEL Report

This page allows you to generate the report that contains the details of MEL parts.

Select the “Generate MEL Report” link under the “Configuration Reports” business component.

The “Generate MEL Report” page appears.

Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for model configuration. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Aircraft Reg #	The aircraft registration number that belongs to the aircraft model (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the registration number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the model configurations with the aircraft registration number entered here.
Manufacturer #	The manufacturer of the aircraft model (Alphanumeric, 45). You can enter the name of the manufacturer in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the model configurations whose manufacturer names are similar to the value entered here.
Aircraft Model #	The aircraft model for which the Minimum Equipment List details are defined (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the model number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the model configurations for the aircraft model number entered here.
Model Description	The textual description of the aircraft model (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.
Configuration Class	The configuration class to which the aircraft model is associated (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the configuration class in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the model configurations that are associated to the configuration class entered here.
Config Status	Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the model configuration. The system lists the following options: Fresh – Select this option to generate report for model configuration in “Fresh” status. Active – Select this option to generate report for model configuration in “Active” status. Revised – Select this option to generate report for model configuration in “Revised” status. The system sets this field to “Active” by default. Leave this field blank to generate reports for all possible model configurations, irrespective of their status.
Org. Unit #	Use the drop-down list box to select the organizational unit in which the model configuration is defined. The system lists all the organizational units , in which the configuration can be created. The system sets this field to the organizational unit you have currently logged into, by default.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.

The system fills in the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

Aircraft Model #	The aircraft model for which the Minimum Equipment List details are defined.
Model Description	The textual description of the aircraft model.
Manufacturer #	The manufacturer of the aircraft model.
Configuration Class	The configuration class to which the aircraft model is associated.
Config Status	The status of the model configuration, which could be “Fresh”, “Active” or “Inactive”.
Revision #	The number identifying the revision of the model configuration.
Org Unit#	The organizational unit in which the model configuration is defined.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the model configuration for generating the MEL report.
Enter the following field:

Select All

Check this box to select all the model configurations listed in the multiline.

Enter the following field in the “Report Options” group box:

Report Action

Use the drop-down list box to select the report action. The system lists the following options:

Print – Select this option to print the MEL report.
View Report – Select this option to view the MEL report.

Select the “Generate MEL Report” link to generate the MEL report for the selected configuration.
