This page allows you to generate the report that contains the details of component configuration.

The “Generate Component Configuration Report” page appears.

Component #

The component for which the configuration report must be generated (Alphanumeric, 90). You can enter the component number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the component configurations defined for the component entered here.

Part #

The part to which the component belongs (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the component configurations with part numbers that are similar to the number entered here.

Part Description

The textual description of the part (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the part description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.

Serial #

The serial number of the part (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the serial number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the component configurations with serial numbers that are similar to the number entered here.

Config Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the component configuration. The system lists the following options:

  • Fresh – Select this option to generate report for component configuration in “Fresh” status.

  • Active – Select this option to generate report for component configuration in “Active” status.

  • Revised – Select this option to generate report for component configuration in “Revised” status.

The system sets the field “Active” by default. Leave this field blank if you wish to generate reports for all component configurations irrespective of  their status.

Revision #

The revision number of the component configuration (Alphanumeric, 40).

Base Part #

The base part number of the part (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the base part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the component configurations with the base part number entered here.

NHA

The number identifying the parent part, which is otherwise called the next higher assembly (Alphanumeric, 40).

Org. Unit #

Use the drop-down list box to select the organizational unit in which the component configuration is defined. The system lists all the organizational units  in which the configuration can be created.

The system fills in the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

Component #

The component for which the configuration is defined.

Part #

The part to which the component belongs.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Serial #

The serial number of the part.

Config Status

The status of the component configuration, which could be “Fresh”, “Active” or “Revised”.

Revision #

The revision number of the component configuration.

Base Part #

The base part number of the part.

NHA

The number identifying the parent part, which is otherwise, called the next higher assembly.

Org. Unit #

The organizational unit in which the component configuration is defined.

Select All

Check this box to select all the component configurations listed in the multiline.

Report Action

Use the drop-down list box to select the report action. The system lists the following options:

  • Print – Select this option to print the component configuration report.

  • View Report – Select this option to view the component configuration report.
