The system ensures the following on clicking this icon:
Execution Reference must not be available in “Closed” or “Cancelled” status in “Execution Record Detials” section.
Discrepancy must be available in the “Discrepancy” section.
The Execution Status of the Work Unit must be other than “Cancelled”, “Deferred”, “Completed”, “Incomplete, or ‘Preclosed’”.
Login user must have access rights to the Work center to which the Execution Reference # is mapped.
Ensure that only Start Time is specified for the Execution Reference # - Discrepancy # - Employee # combination and End Date & Time do not exist for the selected records.
Ensure that In Direct work hours are not started for the Employee # - Work Date combination,.
Ensure that the Clock Status is other than “Not Started” or “Clock Indirect” for the Discrepancy - Execution Reference # - Employee # combination in the “Record Employee Timesheet page”.
The system performs the following on clicking the ‘Reset Clock’ icon:
For the given WorkUnit # -Seq # - Execution Reference # combination , if there is no ‘Actual Start Date & Time’ values available for the employees in the “Record Employee Timesheet” page of the “Aircraft Maintenance Execution” business component, then the system updates the ‘Clock Start Date & Time’ as the ‘Actual Start Date & Time’. If the Actual Start Date & Time values are available, then the system computes the earliest 'Actual Start Date' & 'Actual Start Time' for all records and displays the 'Actual Start Date’ & ‘Actual Start Time'.
When the clock is reset, the system converts the server date and time into the local timezone of the ‘Station’ selected in the header, by considering the conversion factor defined for the ‘Station’, in the “Common Masters” business component. The converted date and time is displayed as the “Start Date & Time”.
Example:
Consider that the server is available in India and the user is in Adelaide, Australia. Let the server date and time be 31-01-2011 7:00 AM.
When the user selects the ‘Station’ as “Adelaide” and resets the clock, the system converts the server date and time into Station equivalent by adding the time difference ‘+4’ (Since Adelaide time zone is 4 hours ahead of India), and displays the ‘Start Date & Time’ as 31-01-2011 11:00 AM.
