Example:
If the Component Replacement transaction with Source “Replace”, “Cannibalize” or “Swap” is available for the issued component, consider the following:
If the issued component is not attached to any aircraft, not available in any warehouse and not available in any of the transactions documents (like ‘Maintenance Return’, ‘Unplanned Return’, ‘General Return’, ‘Goods Receipt’, ‘Stock Transfer Issue’, ‘Loan Issue’, ‘Exchange Issue’, ‘Repair Receipt’, ‘Repair Issue’, ‘PBH Issue’ and ‘Rental Issue’), the system displays the text “Issued Part # : Issued Serial # is not attached to Aircraft”.
If the Issued component is available in warehouse, the system displays the text “Issued Part # : Serial # is available in stock in Warehouse #. Please update Reconcile details”.
If the Issued component is attached to the Aircraft through “Attach” Component Replacement transaction, the system updates 'Reconcile Qty - Core' automatically and 'Pending Return Qty - Core' would be available as '0'. Hence any value will not be displayed in “Pending Core Info” field.
If the Issued component is attached to Aircraft by Component Replacement transaction with Source as “Replace”, and the removed Component is sent out for repair and is currently available in a ‘Repair Order’ transaction, the system would indicate the same enabling the user to update ‘Reconcile Qty – Core’. Similarly if the component removed with ‘Source’ as “Replace” is already returned to warehouse through different package or if it is attached to any other Aircraft, or if it is available in any other transaction documents as mentioned above, system would indicate the same.
