If the user enters the task without sign-off requirements

Saves the task with the sign-off requirements defined at task level.

If the user enters the task and selects the sign-off requirement details

Saves the task with the user selected sign-off requirements irrespective of the sign-off requirements defined at task level.

If the user modifies the task

Saves the modified sign-off requirements irrespective of the requirements defined at task level.

Modification not allowed for standard task

‘Not Allowed’ or ‘Allowed for Non Routine Tasks’

If the user enters the task without sign-off requirements

Saves the task with the sign-off requirements defined at task level.

If the user enters the task and selects the sign-off requirement details

Saves the task with the user selected sign-off requirements or overwrites the selected values with the sign-off requirements defined at task level, based on whether the selected requirements are matching the requirements defined at task level.

If the user modifies the task

Saves the modified sign-off requirements or displays an error message, based on whether the modified requirements are matching the requirements defined at task level.

Modification allowed for non-standard task  

‘Allowed for Non Routine Tasks’ or ‘Allowed for Routine Tasks & Non Routine Tasks’

If the user enters the description without any sign off requirements

Saves the task with the default sign-off requirements defined in the “Set Options” activity of the “Maintenance Task” business component.

If the user enters the description and selects sign off requirements details

Saves the Non standard task with the user selected sign-off requirements.

If the user modifies the sign-off requirements

Saves the modified requirements irrespective of the default sign off requirements defined in the “Set Options” activity of the “Maintenance Task” business component.

‘Not Allowed’ or ‘Allowed for Routine Tasks’

If the user enters the description without any sign-off requirements

Saves the task with the default sign-off requirements “Set Options” activity of the “Maintenance Task” business component.

If the user enters the description and selects the sign-off requirements

Saves the task with the user selected sign-off requirements or overwrites the selected values with the default sign-off requirements defined in the “Set Options” activity, based on whether the selected requirements are matching the requirements in the “Set Options” activity.

If  the user modifies the existing sign-off requirements

Saves the non-standard task with the user selected sign-off requirements if the modified sign-off requirements are matching the sign-off requirements set for the Non standard task in the “Set Options” activity. Else the system displays an error message.

Direct completion of standard task

‘Allowed for Non Routine Tasks’ or ‘Allowed for Routine Tasks & Non Routine Tasks’

If the user enters the task without selecting any sign off requirements, and selects the status as “Completed” directly in the ‘Work Information’ section

Considers the sign-off requirement as “Not Required” for the task and saves the task with “Completed” status even though the sign-off requirements have been identified for the task in the “Set Options” activity of the “Maintenance Task” business component.

If user enters the task, selects the status as “Completed” directly in the ‘Work Information’ section and selects any of the check boxes in “Sign-off Requirements” group box with the employee code entered

Saves the task with “Completed” status with user selected sign-off requirements even though the sign-off requirements have been identified for the task in the “Set Options” activity.

If user enters the task, selects the status as “Completed” directly in the ‘Work Information’ section and selects any of the check boxes in “Sign-off Requirements” group box without the employee code

Saves the task in “In-Progress” status with sign-off status as “Pending Sign-off”

‘Not Allowed’ or ‘Allowed for Non Routine Tasks’

If the user enters the task without selecting any sign off requirements, and selects the status as “Completed” directly in the ‘Work Information’ section

Copies the sign-off requirements defined for the task from the “Set Options” activity, and saves the task in “In-Progress” status.

If user enters the task, selects the status as “Completed” directly in the ‘Work Information’ section and selects any of the check boxes in “Sign-off Requirements” group box with or without the employee code entered

The system performs the following, if the selected sign off requirements are conflicting with the requirements defined for the task at task level:

• Overwrites the user selected sign off requirements with the defined requirements from the “Set Options” activity of the “Maintenance Task” business component.

• Saves the task in “In-Progress” status.

• Clears the employee codes if entered.

If the selected sign-off requirements are matching the requirements defined at task level and if employee code is available, the system saves the task with the user selected sign-off requirements and updates the status of the task as “Completed”.

Direct completion of non-standard tasks

‘Allowed for Non Routine Tasks’ or ‘Allowed for Routine Tasks & Non Routine Tasks’

For the task type “New”, if the user enters the description and selects the status as “Completed” in the “Work Information”, without selecting any sign-off requirement

Considers the sign-off requirement as “Not Required” for the task and saves the task with “Completed” status even though the sign-off requirements have been identified for the task in the “Maintenance Task” business component.

For the task type “New”, if the user enters the description, selects the status as “Completed” directly in the ‘Work Information’ section and selects any of the check boxes in “Sign-off Requirements” group box with the employee code entered

Saves the task with “Completed” status with user selected sign-off requirements even though the sign-off requirements have been identified for the task in the “Maintenance Task” business component

For the task type “New”, if the user enters the description, selects the status as “Completed” directly in the ‘Work Information’ section and selects any of the check boxes in “Sign-off Requirements” group box without the employee code

Saves the task in “In-Progress” status with sign-off status as “Pending Sign-off”.

‘Not Allowed’ or ‘Allowed for Routine Tasks’

For the task type “New”, if the user enters the description and selects the status as “Completed” in the “Work Information”, without selecting any sign-off requirement

Copies the default sign-off requirements defined for the non-standard task from the “Set Options” activity of the “Maintenance Task” business component, and saves the task in “In-Progress” status.

For the task type “New”, if the user enters the description and selects the status as “Completed” in the “Work Information” section, and selects any of the check boxes in “Sign-off Requirements” group box with or without the employee code entered
