This page allows you to search and select purchase request(s) and transfer the same to the field in which it is required.
You can carry out the search using the purchase request number, location, range of created dates, type, category, user status and warehouse. On confirmation, the selected purchase request is transferred to the required page.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Purchase Request #” field in the main page.
The “Help On PR Schedules” page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed, in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default. |
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for a purchase request:
P R # |
The number identifying the purchase request you need to retrieve (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the PR number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the purchase requests with numbers similar to the number entered here. |
PR Location |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the location in which the purchase request is raised. The system retrieves the purchase requests created in the selected organization unit. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the purchase requests irrespective of the location. |
From Date |
The starting date in the range of purchase request creation dates from which the purchase request details must be retrieved (Date Format). The system lists all the purchase requests that are raised on or later than this date. The system sets the date one month prior to the current date by default. |
To Date |
The ending date in the range of purchase request creation dates till which the purchase request details must be retrieved (Date Format). The system lists all the purchase requests that are raised on or earlier than this date. The system displays the current server date by default. |
PR Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the purchase request you need to retrieve. The system lists the options ”Owned”, “PBH”, “Others” and "Service". The system retrieves all the purchase requests of the type specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the purchase requests irrespective of the type. |
PR Priority |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the priority of the purchase request you need to retrieve. The system lists the options “AOG”, “Critical”, “Expedite” and “Normal”. The system retrieves all the purchase requests of the priority specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the purchase requests irrespective of the priority. |
PR Category |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the category of the purchase request to be retrieved. The system lists all the “Active” PR categories defined in the “Create Common Category” activity of the “Logistics Common Master” business component specified for Purchase Request. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the purchase requests irrespective of the category. |
Warehouse # |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the warehouse in which the purchased parts must be stored. The system lists all the “Active” warehouses as defined in the “Storage Administration” business component. The system retrieves the purchase requests associated to the selected warehouse. |
User Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the user-defined status of the purchase request you need to retrieve. The system lists all the “Active” user statuses of type “PR” as defined in the “Create User Status” activity of the “Logistics Common Master” business component. The system retrieves all purchase requests that are in the user-defined status specified here. |
Expense Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the PR expense type. The system lists the values “Revenue” and “Capital” and leaves the field blank by default. |
Note: Leave all the fields blank, to retrieve the purchase requests irrespective of the search criteria.
Click the “Search” pushbutton, to search for the purchase requests.
Note: The system retrieves all the purchase requests that are in “Authorized” status, having pending quantity greater than zero.
The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the search criteria entered.

The type of the purchase request, which could be “Owned”, “PBH”, "Others” or "Service". |

The PR expense type which could be “Revenue” or “Capital”. |
PR Priority |
The priority of the purchase request, which could be “AOG”, “Critical”, “Expedite” or “Normal”. |
PR Category |
The category of the purchase request. |
User Status |
The user-defined status of the purchase request. |
Part # |
The number that identifies the part for which the purchase request is raised. |
PR Line # |
The line number of the part in the purchase request. |
PR Schedule # |
The schedule number of the part in the purchase request. |
Warehouse # |
The number that identifies the warehouse in which the parts need to be stored. |
Need Date |
The date on which the part is required. |
Pending Qty |
The remaining quantity of the parts to be purchased. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement for the parts. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select a purchase request.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
