This page allows you to modify the quick codes, which are already defined and are in the “Active” status. Tell me more.
Select the “Edit Quick Codes” link under the “Purchase Requisition” business component.
The “Edit Quick Codes” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the Enterprise Modeling business component by default. |
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for quick codes:
Quick Code Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of quick code to be modified. The system provides the options “Category” and “User Status” and sets the field to “Category” by default. |
Status |
Use the drop down list box to select the status of the quick code to be modified. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive” and sets the field to “Active” by default. |
Note: Leave all the fields blank if you want to retrieve all the quick codes defined earlier.
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the details in the multiline.
The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria entered.
Quick Code |
The quick code belonging to the selected quick code type or status. |
Enter the following fields to modify the quick code details:
Description |
The modified textual description of the quick code Alphanumeric (80). Mandatory. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to modify the status of the quick code. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Set the status as “Inactive” if you wish to disable this quick code from future reference in other activities. |
The system displays the following in the multiline:
Created By |
The login ID of the user who created the quick code. |
Create Date |
The date on which the quick code was created. |
Last Modified by |
The login ID of the user who modified the quick codes last. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the quick code was last modified. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the quick code for deletion.
Click the “Delete” icon in the toolbar above the multiline, to delete the selected quick codes.
Click the “Modify Quick Codes” pushbutton to update the modified details.
The system stores the server date as the “Last Modified Date”.
