Entering the certificate details for the pack slip
In this page, you can modify the certificate details associated with the part that is being shipped to the customer. You cannot modify the certificate details of the pack slips, which are in “Confirmed” or “Cancelled or ”Shipped” status.
Select the “Edit Certificate Details” link at the bottom of the “Create Pack Slip” or “Edit Pack Slip” page.
The “Edit Certificate Details” page appears.
The system displays the following fields in the “Pack Slip Details” group box:
Pack Slip # |
The number identifying the pack slip. |
Pack Slip Date |
The date of the pack slip. |
Status |
The status of the pack slip. |
Shipment Date |
The date of shipment. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Customer Details” group box:
Customer # |
The code identifying the customer. |
Customer Name |
The name of the customer. |
Enter the following in the “Part Details” group box:
Line # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the line number of the pack slip for which the certificate details must be updated. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton, to retrieve the part details of the selected line number.
The system displays the following:
Part # |
The number identifying the part. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. Zoom facility available. |
Part Type |
The type of the part which could be “Component” or “Miscellaneous” or “Expendables”, or “Tool” or “Consumable” or “Raw Material” or “Kit”. |
Condition |
The condition of the part which could be 'New' or 'Over Hauled' or 'Serviceable' or 'Un-Serviceable' or 'Phased Out'. |
Enter the following in the “Certificate Details” multiline:
Certificate # |
The number identifying the certificate associated with the part (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory. |
Certificate Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the certificate associated with the part. The system lists all the certificate types as defined in the “Logistics Common Master” business component. |
Issuer # |
The code identifying the issuer, who issued the certificate (Alphanumeric, 20). Help facility available. |
The system displays the following:
Issuer Name |
The name of the person who issued the certificate. |
Comments |
Any comments pertaining to the certificate. |
File Name |
The name of the file associated with the certificate. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the certificate for deletion.
Click the “Delete” icon in the toolbar above the multiline, to delete the certificate number selected in the multiline.
Click the “Edit Certificate Details” pushbutton to update the certificate details.
