Specifying lot and serial details for the shipped quantity
This page allows you to specify the quantity of the serial number and the lot number parts that can be shipped to the customer. Tell me more
Select the “Edit Shipped Lot & Serial Details” link at the bottom of the “Ship Pack Slip” page.
The “Edit Shipped Lot & Serial Details” page appears.
The system displays the following in the “Pack Slip Details” group box:
Pack Slip # |
The number identifying the pack slip. |
Pack Slip Date |
The date of the pack slip. |
Enter the following in the “Line # Details” group box:
Line # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the line number of the pack slip, which contains the part for which you wish specify the quantity of serial number and lot number part. |
Click the “Get Part Details” pushbutton, to retrieve the part details of the selected line number.
The system displays the following:
Warehouse # |
The number identifying the warehouse to which the part belongs. |
Warehouse Description |
The textual description of the warehouse. Zoom facility available. |
Part # |
The number identifying the part. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
Part Type |
The type of the part which could be “Component” or “Miscellaneous” or “Expendables”, or “Tool” or “Consumable” or “Raw Material” or “Kit” which is being allocated. |
Stock Status |
The user-defined stock status assigned to the pack slip. |
Condition |
The condition of the part, which could be 'New or 'Over Hauled' or 'Serviceable' or 'Un-Serviceable' or 'Phased Out'. |
Part Control Type |
The control type of the part, which is serial number-controlled or lot number-controlled or both |
Pack Slip Quantity |
The quantity of the part requested by the customer. |
Allocated Quantity |
The quantity of the part allocated. |
Issued Quantity |
The quantity of the part issued. |
Shipped Quantity |
The quantity of the part shipped. |
The system displays the following in the “Serial / Lot Details”multiline
Serial # |
The unique number identifying the serial number issued by the warehouse. |
Manufacturer Serial # |
The serial number issued by the manufacturer. |
Lot # |
The unique number identifying the lot number issued by the warehouse. It is mandatory to enter the field, if the part type is “Lot controlled”. |
Manufacturer Lot # |
The lot number issued by the manufacturer. |
Enter the following:
Quantity |
The number of units of the serial number and lot number parts, that can be shipped (Decimal). Mandatory. |
Remarks |
Additional comments pertaining to the modification of the quantity. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the warehouse zone number for deletion.
Click the “Delete” icon in the toolbar above the multiline, to delete the warehouse zone number selected in the multiline.
Click the “Edit Quantity Details” pushbutton to update the storage details for the pack slip.
The system updates the quantity of the part that is shipped.

You can enter quantity of serial number and lot number part that’s is to be shipped.
In the “Line #” field, select the line number of the pack slip which contains the part for which you wish to specify the serial or lot number quantity details.
In the “Serial/ Lot Details ” multiline, enter the quantities of the part to be shipped for the different serial numbers and lot numbers, in the “Shipped Quantity” field.
Specifying lot and serial details for the shipped quantity – An overview
This page allows you to specify the quantity of the serial number and the lot number parts that can be shipped to the customer. The entire serial number and lot number controlled part, which have been issued against the pack slip for the requested part from the specified Warehouse, is displayed in the Serial/ Lot Details multiline. The quantity has to be specified for serial and lot numbers parts that are to be shipped to the customer.
You can only modify the shipped quantity of a pack slip, which is in “Issued” status.
