Entering the storage details for the issued quantity

This page allows you to specify the quantity of the part that can be issued. You can specify the quantity that has to be issued along with the storage details such as the zone number and the bin number from where the requested part can be issued. You can also specify the serial number and the lot number of the part.
Select the “Edit Storage Details” link at the bottom of the “Issue Pack Slip” page.
The “Edit Storage Details” page appears.
The system displays the following:

Date Format |
The format in which the date field is displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component by default. |
The system displays the following in the “Pack Slip Details” group box:

Pack Slip # |
The number identifying the pack slip for which the storage details must be specified. |
|
Pack Slip Date |
The date of the pack slip. |
The system displays the following in the “Customer Information” group box:

Customer # |
The code identifying the customer to whom the part is shipped. |
|
Customer Name |
The name of the customer. |
Enter the following in the “Part Details” group box
|
Line # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the line number of the pack slip for which the storage details must be specified. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton, to retrieve the part details of the selected line number.
The system displays the following:

Warehouse # |
The number identifying the warehouse from where the part is being issued |

Warehouse Description |
The textual description of the warehouse. Zoom facility available. |

Part # |
The number identifying the part. |
|
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. Zoom facility available. |
|
Part Type |
The type of the part which could be “Component” or “Miscellaneous” or “Expendables”, or “Tool” or “Consumable” or “Raw Material” or “Kit”. |

Stock Status |
The user-defined stock status |
|
Pack Slip Quantity |
The quantity pf the part. |
|
Allocated Quantity |
The quantity of the part that had been allocated. |
|
Issued Quantity |
The quantity of the part to be issued. |
|
Part Control Type |
The type of the part, which is serial number-controlled or lot number-controlled. |
Enter the following in the “Serial / Lot Details” multiline:

WH – Zone # |
The number identifying the zone in which the allocated part is stored (Alphanumeric, 10). This zone number must have been defined in the “Create Warehouse Information” activity of the “Storage Administration” business component and must be in the “Active” status. It is mandatory to enter the field, if the warehouse type is “Normal”. If the warehouse type is “Free”, the zone must be left blank. Help facility available. |

Bin # |
The number identifying the bin in which the allocated part is stored (Alphanumeric, 10). This bin number must have been defined in the “Create Warehouse Information” activity of the “Storage Administration” business component and must be in the “Active” status. It is mandatory to enter the field, if the zone type is “Normal”. If the zone type is “Free”, the bin type must be left blank. Help facility available. |

Serial # |
The unique number identifying the serial number of the part. It is mandatory to enter the field, if the part control type is “Serial Controlled”. Help facility available. |

Manufacturer Serial # |
The serial number issued by the manufacturer. |
Enter the following:

Lot # |
The unique number identifying the lot number of the part . It is mandatory to enter the field, if the part control type is “Lot controlled”. Help facility available. |

The lot number issued by the manufacturer. |
Enter the following:

Quantity |
The number of units of the part that has been issued (Decimal). Mandatory. Ensure that this field is greater than zero. |

Remarks |
Additional comments pertaining to the modification of the quantity (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the warehouse zone number for deletion.
Click the “Delete” icon in the toolbar above the multiline, to delete the warehouse zone number selected in the multiline.
Click the “Edit Storage Details” pushbutton to update the storage details for the pack slip.
The system updates the storage details of the issued pack slip..

Specify the quantity to be issued
You can specify the zone or bin from where the part can be issued.
In the “Line #” field, select the line number of pack slip which contains the part for which you wish to specify the storage details.
Enter the warehouse zone information, to specify the zone of issue.
Enter the bin information, to specify the bin of issue.
Specify serial and lot number details
You can specify the serial number and lot number detail of the part to be issued based on the part control type
In the “Serial / Lot” details multiline enter the lot number and the serial number of the part to be allocated.
Specify the quantity to be issued
You can enter quantity of the serial and lot controlled part that can be issued from each zone and bin.
In the “Serial / Lot” details multiline enter the quantity of the part that can be issued.
