Selecting the customer for creating the part sale pack slip

In this page, you can select the customer to whom you wish to sell the parts from. If you know the exact customer code, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the customer code and the customer name. Details such as the customer code and the customer name are displayed in the multiline.

Select the “Create Part Sale Pack Slip” link under the “Pack Slip” business component.

The “Select Customer #” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component by default.

Enter the following in the “Direct Entry” group box, if you know the exact customer number:

Customer #

The number identifying the customer to whom you wish to sell the parts (Alphanumeric, 18).

Click the “Create Pack Slip” link provided alongside, to create the pack slip.

To search for a customer

Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for the customer:

Customer #	The number identifying the customer to whom you wish to sell the parts and send the generated pack slip along with shipment (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the customer number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the “Active” customer numbers defined in the “Customer“ business component which are similar to the number entered here.
Customer Name	The name of the customer who purchases the part (Alphanumeric, 25). You can enter the customer name in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the “customer names defined in the “Customer“ business component which are similar to the name entered here.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the details in the multiline.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:

Customer #	The code identifying the customer retrieved by the system.
Customer Name	The name of the customer.

To proceed, carry out the following

Click the hyperlinked customer number in the multiline, to create the pack slip.
