The system displays the following in the “Price List Details” group box:

Part Price List #

The number identifying the part price list.

Description

The textual description of the part price list.

Zoom facility available.

Revision#

The revision number of the part price list.

Status

The status of the part price list.

Currency

The currency of the part price list.

Pricing Method

The pricing method of the part price list.

Part Count

The count of the parts available in part price list.

Price Factor

The price factor of the part price list (Decimal).

Embodiment Factor

The amount levied on the customer for holding his goods in the warehouse (Decimal).

Part#

The number identifying the part for which you wish to record the pricing details (Alphanumeric, 40) You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the "*" character.

Part Description

The textual description of the part (Alphanumeric, 100).

Part Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the part type as ”Component”, “Consumables”, “Kit”, ”Raw Material”, “Expendable”, “Tools” or “Miscellaneous”. Leave this field blank, if you wish to retrieve the part irrespective of the part type.

Condition

Use the drop-down list box to select the condition of the part as “New”, “Over Hauled”, “Serviceable”, ”Un-Serviceable” or “Phased Out”. Leave this field blank, if you wish to retrieve the part irrespective of the part condition.

Data selection in this field is mandatory, if the “Part Type” is set to “Component”

Component Part Classification

Use the drop down list box to classify the component part as''Rotable'', ''Repairable'' or ''Controllable''. Leave this field blank, if you wish to retrieve the part irrespective of the classification.

Part Category

Use the drop down list box to select the part category. The system displays all active categories that have been defined in the “Part Administration” business component.

Part#

The number identifying the part for which you wish to record the pricing details (Alphanumeric, 40). Ensure that this number is already defined in the “Part Administration” business component and is in “Active” status.

The system displays the following in the “Part Details” multiline on selecting the part number:

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Part Type

The type of the part.

Part Condition

Use the drop down list box to select the condition of the part as “New”, “Over Hauled”, “Serviceable”, ”Un-Serviceable” or “Phased Out”.

UOM

The unit of measurement of the part.

Help facility available.

Minimum Quantity

The minimum quantity of the part in the part price list. .(Integer).  The minimum quantity must be less than the maximum quantity.

Maximum Quantity

The maximum quantity of the part in the part price list. (Integer).

Unit Price

The unit price of the part.

Embodiment Fee

The embodiment fee of the part price list. (Decimal).

Price Factor

The price factor for the part (Decimal).

Embodiment Factor

The amount levied on the customer for holding his goods in the warehouse (Decimal).

Note: The price and embodiment factor, if entered in the default details, gets fetched here. You can modify its details in the multiline.

Factor On

The costing method that is followed for the part.

Note: The costing method, such as FIFO, LIFO, Average Cost or Standard Cost, is specified for the part in the “Part Administration” business component

Note: For price list of type “OEM”, the system ensures that the part number-condition combination is unique for all the active and revised price lists having the same effectivity date range, if the “Part Type” is “Component”.

If the part type is other than “Component”, the system ensures that the part number is unique for all the active and revised OEM price lists having the same effectivity date range.

If the “Inactivate Previous Revisions” box in “Revise Part Price List” page is checked, the system ensures that the part#-condition combination is unique for each active OEM price list having the same effectivity date range.

If the “Inactivate Previous Revisions” box is not checked, the system ensures that the part#-condition combination is unique for each revised OEM price list having the same effectivity date range.

Modifying part based pricing details –An overview

You can specify the pricing details for the individual parts, in this page. You can select the part by providing search criteria such as part number, part type, condition, component part classification and part category. For the selected part and also for the associated part, the price factor and the embodiment fee can be entered.
