Selecting part price list for modification

This page permits you to select a part price list for editing its details. Tell me more

Select the “Edit Part Price List” link under the “Part Price List” business component.

The “Select Part Price List” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Enter the following field in the "Direct Entry" group box, if you know the exact part price list number:

Part Price List #	The number identifying the part price list to be modified (Alphanumeric, 10).
Revision #	The number identifying the revision of the part price list to be modified (Alphanumeric, 10).

Select the "Edit Part Price List Details" link provided alongside, to modify the part price list details.

To search for a part price list

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for a part price list. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Part Price List #	The number identifying the part price list (Alphanumeric, 10). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the "*" character.
Status	Use the drop down list box to select the status of the part price list as “Fresh” or “Returned”.
Part#	The number identifying the part in the price list for which the price list details has to be modified. (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the "*" character.
Part Group	The grouping of part based on similar attributes. (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the "*" character.
Price List Category	Use the drop-down list box to select the category of the price list. The system displays all the part price list categories that are in the “Active” status from the “Category“ business component. Leave the field blank, if you wish to retrieve the price list irrespective of the category.
Price List Type	Use the drop-down list box to specify the type to which the part price list belongs. The system lists the following options: Regular – Select this option to indicate whether the price list is part number-based, part group-based or part type-based or flat value-based. OEM – Select this option to indicate that the price list is only part number-based. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve the price list details irrespective of the price list type. The system displays blank by default.
Valid From	The starting date, in the range of dates during the period, from which the part price list details are valid (Date format).
Valid To	The ending date, in the range of dates during the period, till which the part price list details are valid (Date format).
OEM #	The number identifying the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the "*" character.
OEM Name	The name of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). (Alphanumeric, 60). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the "*" character.

Click the "Search" pushbutton to display the search results.

The system displays the following fields in the "Search Results" multiline:

Part Price List#	The number identifying the part price list.
Revision#	The number identifying the revision of the part price list.
Description	The textual description of the part price list.
Status	The status of the part price list.
Price List Category	The category to which the part price list belongs.
Currency	The currency of the part price list.
Pricing Basis	The pricing basis of the part price list.
Valid From	The date from which the part price list is valid.
Valid To	The date until which the part price list remains valid.

Enter the following in the “Comments” group box, if you wish to confirm or cancel the part price list:

Any additional details pertaining to the confirmation or cancellation of the part price list (Alphanumeric, 255).

Zoom facility available.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to select the part price list for confirmation or cancellation.

To cancel the part price lists

Click the “Cancel Part Price List” pushbutton to cancel the selected part price lists.

Note: The system updates the status of part price list as “Cancelled”.

To confirm the part price lists

Click the “Confirm Part Price List” pushbutton to confirm the selected part price lists.

Note: The system updates the status of part price list as “Confirmed”.

To edit part price list details

Select the hyperlinked part price list number in the multiline, to edit the part price list details.

Selecting part price list for modification – An overview

This page permits you to select a part price list for editing its details.

Note: You can edit the details only when the part price list is not confirmed.

You can directly enter the part price list number if you know the exact number and the revision number which is in “Fresh” status. Or, you can carry out a search by specifying the price list related details. The search results are displayed in the multiline. You can select the price list number in the multiline for editing its details.

This page also allows you to confirm or cancel part price lists.

Confirm or cancel part price lists in bulk

You can confirm or cancel multiple part price lists at the same time.

Enter filter criteria to search for part price list, in the “Search Criteria” group box.
Click the “Search” pushbutton.
Select the part price list(s) to be confirmed or canceled, in the “Search Results” multiline.
Click the “Cancel Part Price List” pushbutton, to cancel the selected part price list(s).

The status of the part price list(s) is set to “Canceled”.

Click the “Confirm Part Price List” pushbutton, to confirm the selected part price list(s).

The status of the part price list(s) is set to “Confirmed”.
