Selecting part price list for activating or inactivating
This page allows you to select a part price list for activating or inactivating. Tell me more
Select the “Activate/Inactivate Part Price List” link under the “Part Price List” business component.
The “Select Part Price List” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for a part price list. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Part Price List # |
The number identifying the part price list (Alphanumeric, 10). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the "*" character. |
Status |
Use the drop down list box to select the status of the part price list as “Active”, ”Inactive” or “Confirmed”. |
Price List Category |
Use the drop-down list box to select the price list category .The system displays all the "Part Price list Category" that are in the “Active” Status from the “Category“ business component. By default, the system displays “Space “. |
Price List Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type to which the part price list belongs. The system lists the following options:
Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve the price list details irrespective of the price list type. The system displays blank by default. |
Valid From |
The starting date, in the range of dates, from which the part price list is valid. |
Valid To |
The ending date, in the range of dates, upto which the part price list is valid. |
OEM # |
The number identifying the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the "*" character. |
OEM Name |
The name of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). (Alphanumeric, 60). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the "*" character. |
Click the "Search" pushbutton to display the search results.
The system displays the following fields in the "Search Results" multiline:
Part Price List# |
The number identifying the part price list. |
Revision# |
The revision number of the part price list. |
Description |
The textual description of the part price list. |
Status |
The status of the part price list. |
Price List Category |
The category to which the part price list belongs. |
Currency |
The currency of the part price list. |
Pricing Basis |
The pricing basis of the part price details. |
Valid From |
The date from which the part price list is valid. |
Valid To |
The date till which the part price list is valid. |
Enter the following in the “Search Results” multiline:
Remarks |
Any additional details pertaining to the selected part price list (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Enter the following in the “Comments” group box:
Comments |
Any additional comments pertaining to the part price list (Alphanumeric, 255). Zoom facility available. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to select the part price list.
To inactivate the part price list
Click the “Inactivate Part Price List” pushbutton to inactivate the selected part price list.
Note: The system updates the status of the part price list as “Inactivated”.
To return the part price list
Click the “Return Part Price List” pushbutton to return the selected part price list.
Note: Ensure that the part price list is in “Confirmed” status. Only part price lists that are in confirmed status can be returned for further modifications.
Note: The system updates the status of the part price list as “Returned”.
To activate the part price list
Click the “Activate Part Price List “ pushbutton to activate the selected part price list.
Note: The system updates the status of the part price list as “Activated”.
For price list of type “OEM”, the system ensures that the part number-condition combination is unique for all the active and revised price lists having the same effectivity date range, if the “Part Type” is “Component”.
For price list of type “OEM”, the system ensures that the part number is unique for all the active and revised price lists having the same effectivity date range, if the “Part Type” is other than “Component”.
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the “Activate/inactivate Part Price List ” link from the bottom of the page to the part price list.
Selecting a part price list for activating/inactivating – An overview
This page allows you to select a part price list for activating or inactivating. You can directly enter the part price list number if you are aware of the number. Or, you can carry out the search using part price list number, status, currency, pricing basis, part price list category or validity period. The system displays the part price list details in the multiline based on the search criteria.
