Viewing attribute details for the part or service
This page allows you to view the details of the attributes associated to the part number or service number.
Select the “View Attribute Mappings” link in the “View Main Information ” page.
The “Part – Attribute Mapping” page appears.
The system displays the following in the “Part Information” group box:
Part # |
The number identifying the part for which the attributes must be associated. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
Part Category |
The category to which the part belongs. |
Part Type |
The type of the part, which could be “Component”, “Raw Material”, “Consumable” “Expendable”, “Tool”, “Kit” or “Miscellaneous”. |
Regular Part / Service |
Indicates whether the part is a regular part or service. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Attribute Information” multiline:
Attribute Code |
The code identifying the attribute associated to the part |
Attribute Description |
The textual description of the attribute. |
Attribute Type |
The type of the attribute, which could be “Quantitative” or “Qualitative”. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement when the attribute type of the part is “Quantitative”. This field is displayed only for the quantitative attribute. |
The system displays the following fields for “Quantitative” type of attributes associated to the part:
Minimum Value |
The minimum quantitative value that can be assigned to the attribute of the part |
Standard Value |
The standard quantitative value that can be assigned to the attribute of the part |
Maximum Value |
The maximum quantitative value that can be assigned to the attribute of the part |
The system displays the following fields for “Qualitative” type of attributes to the part:
Std Qualitative Value |
The standard qualitative value that can be assigned to the attribute of the part |

Usage Type |
The usage type of the attribute which could be one of the following: |

Trackable |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the attribute is trackable. The system lists the options, “Yes” and “No”. |

The system displays the following fields in the multiline:
Created By |
The name of the person who associated the attributes to the part. |
Created Date |
The date on which the attributes were associated to the part. |
Last Modified By |
The name of the person who last modified the attribute association. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the attribute association was last modified. |
