This page allows you to search for a service number for which the planning information is entered.
A search based on the service number, the description of the service, the key word identifying the service, the type of the service and the category of the service may be helpful in identifying the services with their details in the system. The system retrieves all the service numbers with the planning status “Active”, based on the search criteria entered. On confirmation, the selected service number is transferred to the required page.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Service #” field.
The “Help On Service” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for the service number.

Service # |
The unique code identifying the service to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system displays all the service numbers that are similar to the value entered here. |

Service Description |
The description of the service (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system displays all the services that have description similar to the value entered here. |

Key Word |
The key word of the service (Alphanumeric, 25). You can enter the key word in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system displays all the services that have key words similar to the value entered here. |

Service Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the service, which could be “Regular”, “Activity” or “Conversion”. The system displays the services of type selected here. Leave the field blank to retrieve the services irrespective of the service type. |

Service Category |
Use the drop-down list box to select the category of the service. The system lists the service categories defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity that are in the “Active” status. |
Note: Leave all the fields blank, if you want to retrieve all the service numbers.
The system retrieves the service number with the planning status “Active”.
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.
The system retrieves the following in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the search criteria entered.

The unique code identifying the service. |

A textual description of the service. |

Key Word |
The key word used to easily identify the service. |

Service Type |
The type of the service. |

Service Category |
The category to which the service belongs. |

Default UOM |
The default unit of measurement specified for the service |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the service.
Click the ”OK” pushbutton
