This page allows you to retrieve the details of the part / service groups that are already created. Details of the part / service group such as group code, group description and status are displayed.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Group Code” field.
The “Help on Group Code” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Group Code |
The number identifying the part / service group for which you wish to retrieve the details (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system displays all the group codes that are similar to the value entered here. |

Group description |
The textual description of the part / service group (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system displays all the part / service group descriptions that are similar to the description entered here. |

Controlled Group |
Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether the part / service group you wish to retrieve is controlled. Select ”Yes” for controlled part / service groups. Select “No”, if you do not want a controlled part / service group. |

Purpose |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the applicable purpose of the part / service group. The system displays the following values: "Pricing", "Taxes and Charges", "Product Line", "Capability Definition", "VAT"," Reliability Analysis", " HSN Code" and "SAC Code". |

Group Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the group types applicable for the part / service group. The system displays the Active values as specified in the Create / Edit Group Types. |

Group Usage |
Use the drop-down list box to modify the group usage. The system lists the options "Maintenance", "Inventory", "Purchase", "Operation", "Sales" and Accounting & "Others": The system displays the group codes of the usage selected here. |

Part / Service # |
The number identifying the part that is associated to the part / service group (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system displays all the group codes that have the part / service number entered here. |

Part Description |
The textual description of the part (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the part description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system displays all the group codes that have the part descriptions entered here. |

Strip Part / Service # |
The stripped number of the part without any special characters (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the parts having strip part number that is similar to the value entered here. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to search for the group code.
The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Group Code |
The code identifying the part / service group. |

Group Description |
The textual description of the part / service group. |
|
|
Controlled? |
Indicates whether the part / service group is controlled. A “Yes” value indicates the part / service group is controlled and a “No” value means a part / service group is not controlled. |

Purpose |
The applicable purpose of the part / service group. The system displays one of the following values: "Pricing", "Taxes and Charges", "Product Line", "Capability Definition", "VAT", "HSN Code" and "SAC Code". |

Status |
The status of the part / service group. |

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the group code.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
