This tab enables the user to record the inspection requirements of the part.

Enter the following fields in the multiline:

Part #

The code identifying the part for which the Inspection requirements are recorded.

The system displays the following field:

Part Desc.

The description of the part.

Enter the following fields:

Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the part. The system lists the values ‘Active’, ‘Inactive’ and ‘Revised’ along with a blank value. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Effective from

The date from which the inspection requirement of the part is effective. Mandatory.

The system displays the following fields:

Effective to

The date until which the inspection requirement of the part is effective.

Part Details

The concatenation of Part Type, Part Category, Part Classification and ATA #.

Ex: Component/Tools/Repairable/00-00

Enter the following fields:

Req. Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the Requirement type of the part. The system lists the following values along with a blank value:

  • Inspection Checklist – Select this option if the type of the inspection requirement is checklist.

  • Component Info – Select this option if the type of the inspection requirement is component information.

  • Document Upload – Select this option if the type of the inspection requirement is document.

The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Entity

Use the drop-down list box to specify the entity of the part requirement type. The system lists the following values: Expiry Date, Manufactured Date and Not Appliacble.

  • If ‘Inspection Checklist’ is selected in “Req. Type”, in  the Entity field user should select the value “Not Applicable”.

  • If ‘Document Upload’ is selected in “Req. Type”, in  the Entity field user should select the value “Not Applicable”.

  • If ‘Component Info’ is selected in Req. Type” in, the Entity field user should select  the values “Expiry Date” and “Manufactured Date”.

Requirements

The details for the ‘document’ and ‘inspection checklist’ part requirement type.

Mandatory

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the inspection requirement of the part is mandatory. The system lists the values ‘Yes’ and ‘No’. The system displays the value ‘No’, by default.

The source reference of the inspection part requirements.

Source Ref. #

The number identifying the source reference of the inspection part requirements.

Addl. Ref.

The additional reference of the inspection requirements against the part #.

Addl. Ref. #

The number identifying the additional reference of the inspection part requirements.

Remarks

Any additional remarks of the inspection requirements against the part #.

Comments

Additional comments pertaining to the inspection part requirements.

External Rev.

The external revision number of the inspection part requirements.

External Rev. Date

The external revision date of the inspection part requirements.

The system displays the following fields:

Created by

The name of the user who created the Inspection Part Technical Data Requirement.

Created Date

The date on which the Inspection Part Technical Data Requirement was created.

Last Modified by

The name of the user who last modified the Inspection Part Technical Data Requirement.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the Inspection Part Technical Data Requirement was last modified.

Click the “Save Insp. Requirements” pushbutton to record the parameter value requirements of the part.

To proceed carry out the following:

  Select the “Parameter Value Requirements” tab to record the parameter value requirements of the part.
