Viewing new part/ part attribute change request
This page allows you to view new part/ part attribute change request document.
Select the “Inquire Status” link in the “Select New Part/ Part Attribute Change Request” page. Alternatively, select the hyperlinked “Request #” in the multiline of the same page
The “View New Part/ Part Attribute Change Request” page appears.
The system displays the following fields in the “Request Details” group box:
Request # |
The number identifying the new part/ attribute change request document. This number is generated by the system based on the numbering type selected at the time of creating the new part/ attribute change request document.. |
Status |
The status of the new part/ attribute change request document which can be “Fresh”, “Confirmed” , “Rejected”, “Confirmed”, “Closed” or “Cancelled”. |
Numbering Type |
The numbering pattern to be followed. |
Request Date |
The date on which the new part/ attribute change document is requested (Date Format). |
Request Type |
The type of request, which could be “New Part” or “Part Attribute Change”. |
User Status |
A user-defined status for the new part/ attribute change request document. |
Priority |
The priority for the new part/ attribute change request document. |
Request Category |
The category of the new part/ attribute change request document. |
Requested By Emp. |
The name of the employee requesting the new part/ attribute change. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Reference Details” group box:
Aircraft Reg. # |
The number identifying the registration of the aircraft for which the new part/ attribute change is required. |
Part # |
The number identifying the part for which the new part/ attribute change is required. |
Work Center |
The work center where the new part/ attribute change is requested. |
Station # |
The number identifying the station where the new part/ attribute change is requested. |
Exe. Doc. Type |
The type of the execution document based on which the new part/ attribute change is requested. |
Exe. Doc. # |
The number identifying the execution document pertaining to the new part/ attribute change request document |
Ref. Doc. Type |
The type of the reference document based on which the new part/ attribute change is requested. |
Ref. Doc. # |
The number identifying the reference document pertaining to the new part/ attribute change request document |
Ref. Notes |
Any other reference notes pertaining to the new part/ attribute change request document. |
The system displays the following in the “New Part Details” group box:
New Part # |
The number identifying the new part. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the new part. |
Part Type |
The type of the part, such as Raw Material, Component, Expendable, Tool, Miscellaneous, Consumable or Kit. |
Part Control Type |
The control type of the part, such as Lot Controlled, Serial Controlled, None Controlled or Serial –Lot Controlled. |
Alternate for Part # |
The number identifying the part, to which the new part is to be mapped as an alternate. |
Alternate Part Description |
A textual description of the alternate part. |
Created Part # |
The number identifying the newly created part. |
Created Part Description |
A textual description of the newly created part. |
Select the hyperlinked “Alternate Part #” link provided alongside to view the details of the alternate part.
Select the hyperlinked “Created Part #” link provided alongside to view the details of the part information.
The system displays the following in the “Part Attribute Change” group box:
Part # |
The number identifying the part for which the part attribute change is requested. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part attributes change. |
Part Type From/To |
The type of the part which can be “Component” or “Expendable”. |
Control Type From/ To |
The control type of the part which can be “Serial Controlled”, “Lot Controlled”, “Serial-Lot Controlled” or “None Controlled”. |
Alternate Part # |
The number identifying the part, that can be fitted in place of the part number, if the part number is not available for transactions. |
The system displays the following in the “Part Source Details” group box:
Source Document Type |
The type of the reference document based on which the new part/ attribute change document must be requested. |
Source Document # |
The number identifying the source document that requested for the creation of the new part |
Document Revision # |
The revision number of the source document |
Source Document Date |
The date on which the reference document was created. |
Material Specification |
The specification of the material composition of the part |
Drawing Reference |
The reference of the drawing document |
Drawing Revision # |
The revision number of the drawing document |
Other Details |
Any other information pertaining to the source document. |
The system displays the following in the “Correspondence Details” group box:
Requester Remarks |
The additional remarks pertaining to the new part/ attribute change request document by the requester (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Confirmation Comments |
Any additional comments pertaining to the confirmation of the new part/ attribute change request document. |
Processing Comments |
Any additional comments pertaining to the rejection or close of the new part/ attribute change request document. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Document Attachments” multiline
Reference Document Type |
The type of the reference document. |
Document ID |
The ID of the new part/ attribute change request document |
File Name |
The name of the file used for document reference that is associated with the new part/ attribute change request document. |
Remarks |
Any other remarks pertaining to the new part/ attribute change request document |
Click the hyperlinked “File Name” in the multiline, to view the file name.
Note: At least one record must be entered in the multiline.
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to select a record for deletion.
Check the "Delete" icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the selected record
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the “View Part Type/ Part Control Type Conversion” link at the bottom of the page to view details of the selected part type / part control type conversion document.
Select the “View Alternate Part Nos” link at the bottom of the page to view the alternate part information
The system displays the following in the “Record Statistics” group box:
Requested By |
The name of the user who requested the new part/ attribute change document. |
Requested Date |
The date on which the new part/ attribute change document was requested. |
Last Modified By |
The name of the user who last modified the new part/ attribute change request document. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the new part/ attribute change request document was last modified. |
Confirmed By |
The login ID of the user who confirmed the new part/ attribute change request document. |
Confirmed Date |
The date on which the new part/ attribute change request document was confirmed. |
