This page allows you to view the updated replenishment details of the part. Tell me more.

The “View Replenishment Information” page appears.

The system displays the following.

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the “User Preferences” business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

The system displays the following in the “Part Details” group box:

Part #

The number identifying the part, for which the replenishment details are displayed.

Part Description

The description of the part.

Part Group

The group to which the part belongs.

Part Type

The type of the part, which could be “Component”, “Raw Material”, “Consumable” “Expendable”, “Tool”, “Kit” or “Miscellaneous”.

Part Category

The category of the part.

Manufacturer Part #

The number given by the manufacturer of the part.

The system displays the following in the “Replenishment Details” multiline.

Updated Date

The date on which the replenishment details were updated for the part.

Note: The system displays the “Modified Date” as the updated date, in the case of manual update.

Reorder Qty

The quantity for which the order is placed for replenishment.

Safety Stock

The quantity of the item stored in the location to meet the consumption rate fluctuations.

Reorder Level

The fixed reorder quantity level of the part below which, the purchase activity is automatically initiated by the system.

Stock UOM

The unit of measurement in which the part is stocked in the inventory.

Annual Consumption

The annual consumption of the part stocked in the inventory.

Forecast Factor

The user-defined percentage of the annual consumption considered for the calculation of “Reorder Quantity”, “Safety Stock” and “Reorder Level”. This factor can be between “1” and “100”.

For example, if the forecast factor is “70%”, then it indicates that only 70% of the annual consumption will be considered for the calculation.

Per Order Cost

The miscellaneous cost such as transportation charges and electricity charges incurred on the part.

Carrying Cost

The miscellaneous cost such as the cost incurred for handling hazardous types of parts or breakable parts.

Service Level in %

The level (in percentage) to which the service is provided for the request of replenishment of the material. This is calculated as:

(Number of times the service is provided + Quantity of parts provided based on the request)

Lead Time

The lead time unit, which could be “Days”, “Weeks”, “Months” or “Years”.

Update Mode

The mode of update of the replenishment details, which could be “Part Administration” or “Automatic”.

§          Part Administration - Indicates that the update of replenishment details happens through the “Maintain Planning Information” activity of “Part Administration” business component.

§          Automatic - Indicates that the update of replenishment details happens through the “Compute Replenishment Information” activity of the “Stock Analysis” business component.

Updated By

The login ID of the user who updated the replenishment details of the part.

Note: The system updates the replenishment parameter details such as “Annual Consumption”, “Forecast Factor”, “Pre Order Cost”, “Carrying Cost”, “Reorder Level”, “Service Level in %” and “Lead Time Unit” automatically from the “Stock Analysis” business component, only if the “Update Input Parameters” option is checked in the “Compute Replenishment Information” page of “Stock Analysis” business component.

You can view the replenishment details that are updated automatically in the “Compute Replenishment Information” activity of the “Stock Analysis” business component.

You can also view the replenishment details that are modified in the “Maintain Planning Information” activity of “Part Administration” business component.
