Note: The cost can be 0 and Cost Per can be set as 1 for PO of type “Sample”, “Exchange” or “Customer Goods”. However, the cost for the part for all PO types can be 0 and Cost Per 1, if the “Warranty Claim ?” is set as “Yes” in the Warranty Claim Details group box.
For example, if the cost of one box of oil tins is $100, and the number of tins in one box is 50, enter $100 in the "Cost" field and 50 in the "Cost Per" field. Hence, the cost of a single unit = Cost / Cost per.
Note: You cannot modify the “Cost Per “ field, if it is referenced in the quotation.
Note: The system defaults the Cost Per field to “1” for purchase orders of type “PBH”, “PBH-Exchange” and “Customer Goods”.
