In this page, you can retrieve all numbering types defined in the system. You can carry out a search based on the numbering type, numbering type description, prefix and suffix. Based on the search criteria specified, the system retrieves the numbering type details.

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the Enterprise Modeling business component by default.

Numbering Type

The code identifying the numbering type to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 5). You can enter the numbering type number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all numbering types that are similar to the number entered here. You can leave the field blank to retrieve the numbering types irrespective of the values entered.

Numbering Type Description

The textual description for the numbering type (Alphanumeric, 80). You can enter the numbering type description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all numbering types that are similar to the description entered here. You can leave the field blank to retrieve the numbering types irrespective of the values entered.

  Prefix

A prefix for the numbering type (Alphanumeric, 6). The prefix precedes the numbering type and is given for easy identification of the document number.  It can be a combination of alphabets and numbers. You can enter the prefix in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all numbering types that are similar to the prefix entered here. You can leave the field blank to retrieve the numbering types irrespective of the values entered.

Suffix

A suffix for the numbering type (Alphanumeric, 6). The suffix succeeds the numbering type. It can be a combination of alphabets and numbers. It can be a combination of alphabets and numbers. You can enter the prefix in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all numbering types that are similar to the prefix entered here. You can leave the field blank to retrieve the numbering types irrespective of the values entered.
