Generate / Regenerate Forecast – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to release the forecasted maintenance activity to aircraft maintenance planning for further planning and execution. Based on maintenance arisings, the central planning cell optimizes the load across the execution centers taking into account the capability and the capacity of the execution centers. The central planner decides when to ground the aircraft based on the compliance dates of the maintenance requirements. The work content for the visit is also firmed up. The firmed up visit package is then assigned to an execution facility.
