Viewing asset details

This page allows you to view the details of an asset.

Select the “View Asset Details Information” link under the “Maintenance Asset Tracker” business component.

The “View Asset Details Information” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for an asset object for viewing the details. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Object Type	Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the asset object to be viewed. The system lists the options “Aircraft”, “Component”, “Capital Inventory”, “Tools”, “Equipment” and “Other Facilities”.
Aircraft Reg #	The registration number of the aircraft for which the asset details must be viewed (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the registration number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all aircraft with registration numbers that are similar to the number entered here.
Aircraft Model #	The model to which the aircraft belongs (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the model number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all aircraft with model numbers that are similar to the number entered here.
Part Type	Use the drop-down list box to select the part type which could be "Raw Material", "Component", "Expendable", "Tool", "Consumable", "Kit" or '”Miscellaneous”.
Part Category	Use the drop-down list box to select the category to which the part belongs. The system lists all part categories defined in the “Part Administration” business component.
Part #	The number identifying the part (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all parts that are similar to the number entered here.
Serial #	The serial number of the part (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the serial number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.
Facility #	The number identifying the facility for which you wish to view the asset details (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the facility number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.
Facility Category	Use the drop-down list box to select the facility category. The system lists all the quick codes of type “Facility Category” defined in the “Work Center” business component.
Asset No.	The asset number of the asset object (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the asset number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.
Asset Tag	The asset tag of the asset object (Integer).
Finance Book	The finance book to which the asset object is associated (Alphanumeric, 20).
Facility Object #	The code identifying the facility object associated to the facility (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the facility object code in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The facility object number entered here must be defined in the “Facility Management” business component.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.

The system displays the following fields in the "Search Results" multiline:

Object Type	The type of the asset object which could be “Aircraft”, “Component”, “Capital Inventory”, “Tools”, “Equipment” or “Other Facilities”.
Object #	The number identifying the asset object.
Object Class	The class to which the object belongs, which could be one of the following: Aircraft model number – for asset object of type “Aircraft”. Facility number – for asset object of type “Tools”, “Equipment” or “Other Facilities”.
Part #	The part number.
Serial #	The serial number of the part.
Holding OU	The organizational unit to which the asset object is associated, which could be one of the following: Planning base for the ‘aircraft’ or ‘component’. Stocking point for the ‘capital inventory’. Organizational unit in which the ‘equipment’ or ‘other facility’ is created.
Object Status	The status of the asset object.
Asset No.	The asset number associated to the asset object.
Asset Tag	The asset tag associated to the asset object.
Tag Status	The tag status of the asset object.
Finance Book	The finance book associated to the asset object.
Book Value	The book value of the asset object.
Asset Location code	The code identifying the asset location.
Warehouse #	The warehouse in which the asset object is stocked.
WH – Zone #	The zone in which the asset object is stocked.
Bin #	The bin in which the asset object is stocked.
Parent Aircraft Reg #	The registration number of the parent aircraft to which the asset object is associated.
Object Condition	The condition of the asset object.
Last Modified By	The login ID of the user who last modified the asset object details.
Last Modified Date	The date on which the asset object details were last modified.
Object # Created At	The organizational unit in which the asset object is created.
