Set Inventory Process Parameters – A summary of the activity

This activity  enables you to create and maintain process parameters under different categories to customize business processes, tasks, documents and part/component/aircraft definitions.

The categories under which you maintain process parameters are system-defined and, they essentially represent processes, tasks and documents, which you aim to customize for user benefit.

After creation of a process parameter, you can set it to a value from among the permitted values. You can reset the value of a process parameter in future, if required.

Examples of customization using process parameters:

• Make specific attributes of a part/document mandatory at the time of creation.

• Make specific attributes of a document mandatory for sign off

• Display /hide fields based on relevance to documents/transactions

• Setting conditions for confirming/authorizing documents/tasks
