Creating delivery codes for logistics common master

Select the “Manage Delivery To Codes” link under the “Logistics Common Master” business component.
The “Manage Delivery To Codes” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields appears in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
Enter the following filter criteria in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a delivery to code. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Delivery To Code |
The delivery code for which the details are to be modified (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the delivery code in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the delivery codes that are similar to the value entered here. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the delivery code to be modified. The status could be “Active” or “Inactive”. The system retrieves all the delivery codes that are in the status specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of delivery codes irrespective of their status. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search result in the “Search Results” multiline.
Enter the following in the “Search Results” multiline, to create a new delivery code:
Delivery To Code |
A unique code identifying the shipping destination (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory. This can be combination of letters and digits. |
Note: An existing deliver to code cannot be modified. Only the address details or the status can be modified for an existing deliver to code.
Address 1 |
The address of the shipping destination. Mandatory. (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Enter the following field if you wish to modify the details:
Address 2 |
Any additional information identifying the address of the shipping destination. (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Address 3 |
Any additional information identifying the address of the shipping destination. (Alphanumeric, 255). |
City |
The name of the city where the shipping destination is located. Mandatory. (Alphanumeric, 32) |
State |
The name of the state where the city is located. (Alphanumeric, 32). Mandatory |
Country |
The country where the shipping destination is located. Mandatory. (Alphanumeric, 32) |
Zip Code |
The unique postal code identifying the delivery destination. Mandatory. (Alphanumeric, 15) |
Contact Person |
The name of the person to contact for any shipping tracking related queries. (Alphanumeric, 80) |
Phone # |
The phone number of the shipping destination. (Alphanumeric, 30) |
Fax # |
The fax number of the shipping destination (Alphanumeric, 30) |

The company email id to contact for shipment tracking or other queries. (Alphanumeric, 30) |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to modify the status of the delivery code to “Active” or “Inactive”. Set the status as “Inactive” if you wish to disable the delivery code for future reference in other activities. The user sets the field as “Active” when you create the delivery code for the first time. |
The system displays the following:
Created By |
The code of the login user who created the Delivery To Code. |
Created Date |
The date on which the delivery code was created. |
Last Modified By |
The code of the login user who last modified the Delivery To Code details. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the priority details was last modified. |
Click the “Save” pushbutton to create the delivery destination.
Activate or inactivate priority code
Activate or inactivate priority code
You can inactivate a priority code that is in the “Active” status, so that it is disabled from future reference in other activities.
4Set the “Status” field as “Inactive”.
The system updates the status of the priority code to “Inactive”.
