Help on Carrier

This page enables you to search and find the carrier essential for part shipment based on specific attributes. The attributes based on which you can locate the carrier include name and identification code.

Click the Lens icon provided against the Carrier / Agency # field in the “Create Part Sale Pack Slip”, “Edit Pack Slip” or “Ship Pack Slip” activity.

The “Help on Carrier” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” to retrieve carrier codes of your choice:

Carrier Code

To retrieve carriers with a specific carrier code, enter the code. Alternately, you can enter the code in full or specify it intermingled with the “*” character. The system lists those carriers with similar codes.

However, the carrier code entered here must be Active and valid as defined in the Maintain Carrier / Agency Codes in Logistics Common Master.

Carrier Name

To retrieve carriers with a specific carrier name, enter the name. Alternately, you can enter the name in full or specify it intermingled with the “*” character. The system lists those carriers with similar names.

Click the “Search” pushbutton.

The “Search Results” multiline displays the following details of carriers that match the search criteria.

Carrier / Agency #	The identification number of the carrier / shipment agency.
Carrier Name	The name of the carrier / shipment agency.

From the multiline, select the carrier to be copied to the previous page.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
