Maintain Carrier/Agency Codes – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to define codes for the various carriers or agencies. These codes can be used while specifying the shipping details in the various activities of the purchase and inventory related business components.

You can enter a code to identify a shipping carrier/agency and provide a description for it. You can also specify the status of the shipping carrier/agency code. The shipping carrier/agency code must be unique to the organization unit. The system creates the carrier/agency codes and stores the name of the currently logged in user and the current server date.

You can also modify the carrier/agency code details that are already created in this page. You can search for the carrier/agency codes by specifying the search criteria such as the carrier/agency code and status. Based on the search criteria entered, the system displays the carrier/agency code details. You can modify the carrier/agency code description and the status.
