This page allows you to specify the search criteria and select the user status that you need to modify. Tell me more
Select the “Edit User Status” link under the “Logistics Common Master” business component.
The “Edit User Status” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for the user status. Entry in the following fields is optional.
Document |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of document for which you need to modify the user status details. The system provides the options, “Purchase Order”,“Goods Inward”, "Duty Document", “Goods Receipt”, “Goods Return to Supplier”, “Purchase Request”, “Blanket Purchase Order”, “Release Slip”, “Repair Order”, “Request for Quotation”, “Loan Order”, “Rental Order”, “Loan / Rental Receipt", “Part Data Change", "Build/Break Kit" and "Pick List". The system retrieves all the user statuses, which are already defined in the “Create User Status” activity of the current business component, for the document type specified here. The system sets the field to “Purchase Order” by default. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the user status that you need to retrieve. The system lists the options “Active” and “Inactive”. The system retrieves all the user-defined statuses that are in the status specified here. You can leave this field blank to retrieve all the user statuses irrespective of their status. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton, to display the search results in the multiline.
The system displays the following field in the “Search Results” multiline:

The user status retrieved by the system. |
Modify the following fields, if required:
Description |
The textual description of the user status (Alphanumeric, 80). Mandatory. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to modify the status of the user-defined status, to either “Active” or “Inactive”. |

Set the status as “Inactive”, if you wish to disable this user status from future reference in other activities. |
The system displays the following:
Created By |
The name of the user who created the user status. |
Created Date |
The date, in the specified date format, on which the user status was created. |
Last Modified By |
The name of the user who last modified the user status. |
Last Modified Date |
The date, in the specified date format, on which the user status was last modified. |
Click the “Edit User Status” pushbutton, to update the modified details of the user status.
The system updates the modifications and stores the login user name and the current server date as the last modified date.
Activate or inactivate user status
Activate or inactivate user status
You can change the status of the user status to “Active” or “Inactive”.
Enter the filter criteria to search for user-defined statuses.
Click the “Search” pushbutton.
The system retrieves the user-defined statuses in the “Search Results” multiline.
Set the “Status” field in the multiline to “Active”, to activate the user status.
Set the “Status” field in the multiline to “Inactive”, to inactivate the user status.
Click the “Edit User Status” pushbutton.
