This page allow you to modify the details of an existing certifying authority. Tell me more.
Select the “Maintain Certifying Authority” link under the “Logistics Common Master” business component.
The “Maintain Certifying Authority” page appears.
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields appears in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |

Certifying Authority |
The code that identifies the certifying authority that you need to modify (Alphanumeric, 25). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the certifying authorities that are already defined in the system and are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank, to search for certifying authority irrespective of the certifying authority code. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the certifying authority that you need to retrieve. The system lists the options “Active” and “Inactive”. The system retrieves all the certifying authority of the status specified here. You can leave this field blank, to retrieve certifying authority irrespective of its status. |

Enter the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline, to create certifying authorities, or to modify the certifying authorities retrieved by the system:
Certifying Authority |
A unique code for the certifying authority (Alphanumeric, 25). Mandatory. This can be a combination of alphabets and digits. Enter this field only when you wish to create a new certifying authority. |
Note: You cannot modify an existing certifying authority code.

The textual description of the certifying authority (Alphanumeric, 80). Mandatory. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to assign or modify the status of the certifying authority. The system lists the options “Active” and “Inactive”. |

Set the status as “Inactive”, if you wish to disable the certifying authority from future reference in other activities. |
The system displays the following:
Created By |
The name of the user who created the certifying authority. |
Created Date |
The date, in the specified date format, on which the certifying authority was created. |
Last Modified By |
The name of the user who last modified the certifying authority. |
Last Modified Date |
The date, in the specified date format, on which the certifying authority was last modified. |
Click the "Maintain Certifying Authority" pushbutton, at the bottom of the page to create or modify the certifying authority.
Note: The system creates or modifies the certifying authority in the “Active” status, and stores the name of the login user. The system sets the current server date, as the creation date for a new certifying authority, and as the last modified date for an already existing certifying authority.
Activate or inactivate certifying authority
Activate or inactivate certifying authority
You can change the status of the certifying authority to “Active” or “Inactive”. The system creates the certifying authority in “Active” status.
Enter the filter criteria to search for the certifying authority to be activated or inactivated.
Click the “Search” pushbutton.
The system retrieves the certifying authorities in the “Search Results” multiline.
Set the “Status” field in the multiline to “Active”, to activate the certifying authority.
Set the “Status” field in the multiline to “Inactive”, to inactivate the certifying authority.
Click the “Edit Certifying Authority” pushbutton.
