Creating priority codes for logistics common master
This page allows you to create priority codes. Tell me more.
Select the “Maintain Priority Codes” link under the “Logistics Common Master” business component.
The “Maintain Priority Codes” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields appears in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
Enter the following filter criteria in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a priority number. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Priority |
The priority code for which the details are to be modified (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the priority number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the priority numbers that are similar to the value entered here. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the priority code to be modified. The status could be “Active” or “Inactive”. The system retrieves all the priority codes that are in the status specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of priority codes irrespective of their status. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search result in the “Search Results” multiline.
Enter the following in the “Search Results” multiline, if you wish to create a new priority code:
Priority |
A unique number identifying the priority (Alphanumeric, 20). Mandatory This can be combination of letters and digits. The priority number must be unique to the organization unit. |
Enter the following field if you wish to modify the details:
Priority Description |
The textual description of the priority (Alphanumeric, 20). Mandatory. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to modify the status of the priority to “Active” or “Inactive”. |
Set the status as “Inactive” if you wish to disable the priority number for future reference in other activities. |
The system displays the following:
Created By |
The name of the user who created the priority number. |
Created Date |
The date on which the priority number was created. |
Last Modified By |
The name of the user who last modified the priority number information. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the priority details were last modified. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the priority number for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline to delete the priority numbers selected in the multiline.
Click the “Maintain Priority Codes” pushbutton to create the priority numbers.
Note: If the priority code AOG does not exist in the multiline, the system creates the AOG code with the description “Aircraft on Ground” and sets the status of the created “AOG” as “Active”.

You can inactivate a priority code that is in the “Active” status, so that it is disabled from future reference in other activities.
4Set the “Status” field as “Inactive”.
The system updates the status of the priority code to “Inactive”.
