The “Maintain Insurance Terms” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields appears in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Insurance Term

The insurance term for which the details are to be modified (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the insurance term in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the insurance terms that are similar to the value entered here.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the insurance terms to be modified. The status could be “Active” or “Inactive”. The system retrieves all the insurance terms that are in the status specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of insurance terms irrespective of their status. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the result in the “Search Results” multiline.

  Enter the following in the “Search Results” multiline, if you wish define a new insurance term or to modify the existing insurance term details:

Insurance Term

A unique number identifying the insurance term (Alphanumeric, 150). Mandatory.

Description

The textual description of the insurance term (Alphanumeric, 150). Mandatory.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to modify the status of the Insurance term to “Active” or “Inactive”.

 

Set the status as “Inactive” if you wish to disable the insurance term from future reference in other activities. Set the field as “Active” when you create the insurance terms for the first time.

The system displays the following:

Created By

The name of the user who created the insurance term.

Created Date

The date on which the insurance terms was created.

Last Modified By

The name of the user who last modified the insurance term information.

Last Modified Date

What you can do in this page

Activate or inactivate insurance terms

You can inactivate an insurance term that is in the “Active” status, so that it is disabled from future reference in other activities.

4Set the “Status” field as “Inactive”.

The system updates the status of the insurance term to “Inactive”.
