You can assign a work group consisting of multiple employees to different gates, to perform certain line maintenance activities. You can create long-term work group assignments.
Select the “Assign Work Group to Gate” tab in the “Plan Gate Maintenance” page.
Enter the following fields in the multiline:

Gate # |
The number identifying the gate in the terminal, for which line maintenance activities are planned (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory. The gate number entered here should be a valid gate number defined for the station and terminal number combination. |

Work Group # |
The number identifying the work group to be assigned to the gate (Alphanumeric, 20). Mandatory. The work group must be a valid work group number with applicability as “Line” as defined in the “Hangar Maintenance” business component and should be in “Active” status on the given flight date. |

From Date |
The date starting from which the work group must be assigned to the gate, for executing the line maintenance activities (Date Format). Mandatory. |

From Time |
The time from which the work group must be assigned to the gate, to perform line maintenance (Time Format). |

To Date |
The date till which the work group must be assigned to the gate, for executing the line maintenance activities (Date Format). Mandatory. The “To Date” must be later than the “From Date”. |

To Time |
The time till which the work group must be assigned to the gate, to perform line maintenance (Time Format). |
Note: If “From Date” and “To Date” are the same, ensure that “To Time” is later than the “From Time”.

Hours / Day |
The number of hours per day for which the work group must be assigned to the gate (Time Format). Mandatory. The value entered in this field must be greater than zero. |

Comments |
Any general information pertaining to the work group assignment (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Note: Ensure that at least one record is entered in the multiline.
Also, ensure that the “Gate #”, “Work Group #”, “From Date” and “From Time” combination is entered in the multiline.
Click the “Assign Work Group” pushbutton, to assign the work group to the selected gate (s).
Note: The same work group cannot be assigned to a different gate for the same period.
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the “Line Package Details” tab, if you wish to update the line package details for the gate, flight and plan date combination.
Select the “Update Routing Plan” tab, if you wish to update routing plan for different flight number and leg number combinations.
