Viewing oil consumption details for an aircraft
This page allows you to view the fuel consumed by the aircraft for each journey. Tell me more.
Select the “View Oil Consumption” link at the bottom of the “Select Aircraft” page.
The “View Oil Consumption” page appears.
The system, displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following field in the “Aircraft Details” group box:
Aircraft Reg # |
The aircraft registration number for which the oil consumption details displayed. |
Aircraft Model # |
The model number to which the aircraft belongs. |
Enter the following filter criteria in the “View Criteria” group box to search for a technical log:
From Date |
The starting date in the range of dates, for which the technical log details must be retrieved (Date Format). The date entered here should be in the format displayed in the “Date Format” field. |
To Date |
The ending date in the range of dates, for which the technical log details must be retrieved (Date Format). The date entered here should be in the format displayed in the “Date Format” field. |
Engine Oil UOM |
Use the drop-down list box to select the unit of measurement for the engine oil. The system lists the UOM set for the part in the “Part # Used for Engine Oil” field in the “Set Options” activity. And also lists all other valid UOM defined for part in the “Maintain UOM Conversions” of “Part Administration” business component. |
APU Oil UOM |
Use the drop-down list box to select the unit of measurement for the APU oil. The system lists the UOM set for the part in the “Part # Used for APU Oil” field in the “Set Options” activity. And also lists all other valid UOM defined for part in the “Maintain UOM Conversions” of “Part Administration” business component. |
Hydraulic Oil UOM |
Use the drop-down list box to select the unit of measurement for the hydraulic oil. The system lists the UOM set for the part in the “Part # Used for Hydraulic Oil” field in the “Set Options” activity. And also lists all other valid UOM defined for part in the “Maintain UOM Conversions” of “Part Administration” business component. |
Data entry in this field is mandatory, if the “Uplifted Fuel” field is entered.
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton, to retrieve the details in the multiline.
The system displays the following in the “Flight Summary Details” group box:
Total Block Hours |
The difference between the departure date and time and the arrival date and time. |
Total Flight Hours |
The total time for which the aircraft was in the air. The system displays the difference between the take off date and time and the landing date and time. |
Total Hyd Oil Consumed |
The total amount of hydraulic oil uplifted in the aircraft. The sum of the uplifted hydraulic oil for all the confirmed technical logs, is displayed here. |
The system displays the following in the “Oil Consumption Details” multiline:
Position Code |
The number identifying the position code. |
Position Type |
The type of the component placed in the position code. The system displays either “Engine” or “APU”. |
Serial # |
The serial number of the part. |
Total Oil Consumed |
The total amount of engine oil or APU oil uplifted in the aircraft. The sum of the engine oil or APU oil uplifted for all the confirmed technical logs, is displayed here. |
Part # |
The part number fitted in the position code. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
Viewing oil consumption details for an aircraft – An overview
In this page, you can view the oil consumption details for the aircraft selected in the previous page. The system displays the oil consumption details for the confirmed technical for a specified date range. The system calculates and displays the block hours, flight hours, total fuel consumed, total hydraulic oil, engine oil and the APU oil consumed by the aircraft.
